Renault Trafic 1.9DCi Camper Van
With a heavy heart we are selling our distinctive 2003 Renault Trafic 1.9DCi Campervan (“Peco”). With a rare yellow exterior the van has taken us from the Swiss Alps to the Sahara, all across the UK and Europe without a hitch over the past few years. But now having moved to Normandy, France it no longer makes sense to keep a UK van here.
Given its age and mileage, the van exhibits some minor wear and tear including the occasional dings but still remains a handsome and unique camper as you can see in the photos. The modern interior conversion was completed in 2022 and has only been enjoyed by us since. A diesel heater was professionally installed in 2022 and a new electric fuel pump was fitted by a Renault garage this month (March 2025).
The campervan is currently with us in Normandy, France. We’ll be travelling back to have it MOTed and serviced at the end of April 2025 so it will be sold with a full 12-month MOT. We’ll be staying on the South Coast (close to Newhaven/Peacehaven) through the first May bank holiday weekend so if you’re interested let me know and we can arrange a viewing in the area that weekend.
If the van is still available after we plan to be in Leicester (where I’m originally from) the second May bank holiday weekend and so can arrange viewings in the Midlands area then. The price can also be discussed with the right buyer.
About “Peco”:
Myself (Colm) and my partner (Perrine) bought “Peco” from Dragonville Leisure, Louth in November 2022 having recently left our jobs in Geneva, Switzerland and decided it was time to take a pause with life and explore. Peco never let us down and we’ll be very sad to see him go. But it’s time for him to have a new home and hopefully give another owner as much joy as he gave us!
