Under the hood is Ford’s dependable 2.2L Duratorq TDCi engine, known for running for hundreds of thousands of miles when cared for. It has been regularly maintained and driven with respect. The van is in good condition having had £5k spent on it in the last year (with receipts) and coming with a fresh MOT, service including all new brakes and discs in September 2026. The van has a new battery and has an overhauled fuel system with new spark plugs and fuel injectors. I have owned her for 6 years and taken good care, you will find that she purrs when you drive her. The van started life as a Menzies distribution fleet van doing lots of motorway miles. Timing chain rather than wet belt.

If you’ve been searching for a campervan that balances off-grid trips with day-to-day driveability, Sapphire is built for you. Built as an Adventure Van, she blends a wood panelled aesthetic with a cosy layout with cupboards and cavernous boot space to store all the gear.
Converted on the highly sought-after L2H3 (Medium Wheelbase / Extra High Roof) Ford Transit platform, she offers the ultimate layout sweet spot: compact enough to fit into standard supermarket parking bays and navigate tight country lanes, yet tall enough inside for 6ft+ travellers to stand up completely straight with head space to spare. She is half a metre shorter than a MWB Sprinter and it makes all the difference.
The kitchen unit was professionally made and sourced from Taylored Conversions in Barnstaple with Bench Tested twin hob and gas SMEV 9222 sink unit. It is raised on a plinth with cupboards underneath so you are working at typical kitchen height. Next to it is a long cupboard, and a bench seat that lifts up to reveal plenty of storage space and toilet. There is a double swivel passenger seat and you climb onto the fixed bed from the bench seat. There is also a fixed wooden ladder up to the bed at the rear door.
Half and half Garage & Double bed ‘adventure’ setup and bench seat that with a guard on the side functions as a third child bed. Also enough room to site a medium size travel cot inside the main living space as we have done.
