Detailed Information
Vehicle Description

Me, my wife and our dog have been living and travelling in this van since Summer 2023, working remotely full-time while exploring Europe – we did the full conversion ourselves which is why everything on board has been built and designed for genuine long-term life on the road rather than the odd weekend away. We’re now wanting a bit more structure and are looking to put down some roots – so it’s time for someone else to take our beloved van on their adventure.

2019 Citroën Relay L4H3 35 Heavy Enterprise, running on the 2.0 HDi 130 (1,997cc, 129bhp, 350Nm), 6-speed manual, Euro 6. Covered in ULEZ and Clean Air Zones without any issues.

It’s done 130,600 miles with full service history (since we owned it, we don’t have the couple of years prior), and we’ve recently (August 2026) had a full turbocharger swap, full oil and filter change, a full coolant system clean and refill, new transmission fluid and a regas of the aircon.

DAB radio with Bluetooth phone connectivity, electric windows and wing mirrors, cruise control and speed limiter, ESP with Intelligent Traction Control, factory alarm and immobiliser, rear parking sensors, a height/rake/lumbar/reach-adjustable driver’s seat, adjustable steering wheel, ABS with Emergency Brake Assist. We’ve also fitted wind deflectors to the front windows, so you can leave them cracked open for airflow without rain getting in. Winter tyres are on, and there’s no spare wheel included.

Dimensions are 6,363mm length x 2,764mm height x 2,050mm width (excluding mirrors).

GVW is 3.4t.

V5 is in our name, and it comes with both an electric (remote) key and a manual key.

MOT until 13 April 2027

This was a self-build, and we designed it to be work for us full-time off-grid living while remote working; every system on board has proven brilliant over real long-term travel.

Kitchen:
Solid Iroko hardwood worktops and tables throughout. The gas hob runs off an underslung Gastore 12L refillable LPG tank with a sill refill point and electric gauge. Dometic CX50 compressor fridge that’s quiet and efficient. We’ve also got a Cadac/Dometic 2 Cook 3 Pro Deluxe external BBQ for cooking outside.

Electrical Power:
The whole system was designed and purchased through Nohma (formerly Nomadic Energy, who have said to let ‘any potential buyers know that they can get in touch anytime with any electrical troubleshooting needs they may have’ – not that we expect any – the system has been flawless since built). Using the Victron Connect app you are able to check the current state of the solar / B2B / mains charging via Bluetooth live from your phone.

– 2 x 305W solar panels
– 460Ah Roamer lithium battery
– Victron SmartShunt for live monitoring
– Victron MPPT 100|50 charge controller
– 2 x Victron 12|12-30 DC/DC chargers so the battery also tops up from the engine while driving.
– Victron Multiplus 12|500|20 handles the inverter and mains charging, feeding 3x dual 230V sockets and 3x USB/USB-C ports around the van.

Between the solar and the lithium capacity, we’ve genuinely gone weeks without needing a hookup.

Water:
CAK underslung tanks (66L fresh, 50L waste), both with electric gauges, through a Shurflo Trail King pump with a Fiamma accumulator tank. Hot water comes from a Bobil 12V heater, and there’s an inline Waterdrop water filter too.

Bathroom:
There’s a full shower with a shower tray (85cm x 75cm), and a Separett Tiny composting toilet, paired with a ROLdoûr retractable waterproof sliding door for privacy.

Heating:
Truclicks 5kW diesel heater with an internally mounted tank, which has kept us warm through some proper cold nights and been invaluable when drying clothes out after wet hikes!

Extras:
Insulated with Dodomat sound deadening and insulation throughout and finished in plywood, which keeps things quiet and cosy. Windows include Van Pimps privacy-tinted rear glass, a Van Pimps side window, and a Dometic S4 side window, plus curtains and blackout blinds. Lighting is all dimmable downlights and LED strips, with two bedside lights for reading. Storage is generous, there are overhead lockers throughout plus dedicated hanging space and plenty of space under the bed.

A few extra touches that have made life on the road easier: a Fiamma F45 awning, a MaxxFan Deluxe roof vent, an entertainment setup in the back with a monitor, an Alpine BBX-F1200 4-Channel Amplifier in the rear and 2 xAlpine S-S65 Electronics 6.5″ speakers with bluetooth connection, a Netgear M1 Nighthawk router paired with a Poynting Puck antenna (genuinely strong connectivity; we’ve rarely lost signal anywhere in Europe or the Balkans on EE), and a WOLFBOX dash cam system front and rear. Levelling ramps are included too.

Safety:
Gas safety certificate signed off – fire extinguisher, CO alarm, and smoke alarm fitted, fire blanket, LPG sticker.

This van has been our home for the past few years. The lithium and solar setup means real off-grid freedom, the diesel heater and water heater mean proper year-round comfort.

Beds Description

Fixed double bed (135cm x 175cm), with a dog bed fitted underneath if you’re travelling with a four-legged companion – this could easily enough be used as more storage though.
