Honda Elysion
It’s a car! No, It’s a motorhome! Actually it’s both. Low enough to pass under any barrier, and a pleasure to drive, even for someone well beyond retirement. Top spec Luxury Elysion converted by reputable Wellhouse Leisure. Automatic, 2.4l engine, petrol, reversing camera, electric adjustable and heated (two settings) leather front seats (4 belted seats altogether), swivelling passenger seat, excellent climate control. I’ve loved every minute of owning this Honda, but as I’m now very far into retirement it’s time to (reluctantly) pass it on to someone younger. It’s a Japanese import and I am the second person to own it since the conversion in 2004. I’ve had it for three years. Important to mention though, the odometer reading is in kilometres, not miles. Bluetooth, great sound, two burner hob, running water, lovely little fridge, rock & roll bed and pop top. It also has an awning rail, and comes with a sun awning for you to thread through the rail. The solar panel keeps the leisure battery topped up nicely. The heating doesn’t work, but I’ve been very happy just plugging in a very small portable fan heater (a lot more efficient than the heating was) which I’ll leave in the van. The mattress topper, long electric cable on a reel and flexible hosepipe will also stay in the car. Unless you love cuddling very closely with someone, it’s probably more suitable for sleeping one person rather than two. All paperwork is available, it was regularly serviced, has been undersealed, a towbar fitted for your bike rack. Has never failed an MOT and all cautionaries have been attended to. Newish breaks and 4 Michelin All Weather tyres with about 6ooo miles on them fitted. If you need a car as well as a camper this may well be your answer.
