Campervans for Sale AUGUST the not so rusty Ford Transit MWB - NEW CONVERSION
Ford Transit MWB Hightop
Chain driven 2.4RWD 5Gear
Works Completed:
BRAND NEW:
✔️ Braking system incl pads / callipers / lines and rod and fluid
✔️ EGR
✔️ Injectors / Fuel rail pressure sensor
✔️ Shocks
✔️ Turbo
✔️ keys – x2 fob keys both coded to start
✔️ rear light clusters / bulbs
✔️ rear locks
✔️ Fresh service
✔️ Full years MOT
Receipts can be provided for the parts and evidence of repairs
All advisories on MOT have been dealt with apart from:
❌ Suspension arm ball joint has slight play / suspension arm pin bush worn but not resulting in excessive movement
❌ Very minor oil leak (pretty standard for transits of this age and its never on the floor)
The quirky bits:
The fuel sender return is going in reverse (so empty is full / full is empty) it doesnt affect the drive just the direction of the needle.
The drivers side barrel needs changing – happy to provide a barrel if required but it operates on a fob of which there are 2 so doesnt affect security or locking of the van
WELDING:
Transits are known for being rust buckets. Every effort has been made to ensure this van is not that!
✔️ Extensive welding across the van
✔️ All surface rust removed
✔️Underside painted with rust convertor paint
? The van can be undersealed but for transparency I have not done this yet as underseal can hide issues. TBD with new owners if this is wanted at an agreed price.
BODYWORK:
✔️ Fresh paint job with Rustoleum Combi Colour – Chinese Green Tea
A dent to the rear which for its age is to be expected but otherwise the bodywork is in GREAT shape!
As with every van I welcome and encourage thorough inspections for peace of mind.

Meet August — not your typical rusty old Ford Transit.
The van has been built with as much reclaimed / up cycled materials as possible that feeds into Project Van Rambo ethos of building sustainable campervans.
Born in the long, hot and relentlessly dry summer of 2026, a summer season captured in timber, copper and craftsmanship.
As with every Project Van Rambo build, she’s been designed with a deep respect for reclaimed materials, honest rustic character, and a refusal to create anything ordinary. The result is a van that stands apart — warm, soulful, and unmistakably unique.
Picture, golden summer mornings with the doors wide open, slow transitions into crisp autumn evenings, fireside nights under the stars, muddy boots by the door, and finally retreating inside to the glow of a woodburner.
Born in summer but designed to thrive in all four seasons of adventure.
