“Big Jim” – 2017 Mercedes Sprinter Horse Box Conversion
Reluctantly for sale is my much-loved campervan, affectionately known as Big Jim. Originally built on a 2003 Ford Transit base, I upgraded Big Jim in 2023 by transferring the horsebox to a newer 2017 Mercedes Sprinter chassis, creating a smoother and more enjoyable automatic driving experience.
I initially planned to explore Europe while working remotely, so Big Jim is fully equipped for off-grid living. However, a new job in the UK meant my travel dreams had to take a backseat. After months of using Big Jim only for weekend getaways, I’ve finally decided it’s time to pass him on to someone who can give him the adventures he truly deserves.
