Nelson Vandela, a Black Ford Transit Custom camper van, a practical, much-loved and well-equipped camper conversion that is ideal for weekends away, road trips, festivals, climbing trips, surf missions, or longer off-grid adventures. We are reluctantly selling due to an expanding family and new work commitments so we are genuinely very reluctant to see it go. This van has given us so many brilliant memories and adventures, and we hope it goes to someone who will enjoy it as much as we have.
One of the great things about this van is that it works well as a stealth camper. It is not immediately recognisable as a camper from the outside, making it ideal for low-key stopovers, day trips, and flexible travel. It does have a window, giving light inside without making it feel too obviously like a full camper conversion. Nelson has five belted seats and it can comfortably sleep two people with a memory foam mattress, bedding included, and a practical table arrangement for eating, working, or relaxing inside. The front passenger seats can rotate to create a sociable four-seat living/dining setup, making the interior feel spacious and usable when parked up.
