Cecil has been beautifully converted for us by professional converters Campervan Explorers in North Wales. The van is incredibly stylish and comfortable while possessing everything you need for off grid camping adventures. We wanted to keep it light and open and it is designed it to be a home away from home for two people comprised of:

LIVING AREA
A spacious, comfortable space with lots of natural light coming in from the 6 added windows. It has a large seating area with a telescopic, handmade wooden dining table and custom, professionally made 5 inch memory foam cushions and durable cushion covers. The windows have stylish, custom made lined curtains with leather fasteners.

There are 2 x 240V 3 pin sockets as well as USB plug sockets meaning the van is perfectly set up for remote working and/or charging any electrical devices. It has 6 LED ceiling lights as well as fairy lights for a more chilled, romantic vibe.

BED
The seating area is converted into a HUGE, comfortable king size bed by lowering the telescopic table and aligning the 5 inch memory foam cushions. The bed is massive for 2 adults but would also easily accommodate an additional small child.

KITCHEN
The kitchen has a hand crafted wooden worktop with a stainless steel sink and faucet. The custom made kitchen cabinets provide ample storage space for food and kitchen items (1 extra large draw, 2 large draws, a cupboard for miscellaneous kitchen/cleaning items and 1 cupboard with 2 extra large shelves). There is also shelving above the kitchen unit for additional items.

Cecil has a 2 burner stove with R907 gas locker (gas certification held), carbon monoxide sensor and a 60l Dometic Compressor Fridge (new, March 2023).

WATER SYSTEM
Cecil has a 12v water pump with a 70l fresh water container which is easily filled with a hose to the filling point installed in the side of the kitchen unit. There is also a 70l grey water container which is emptied via a lid sealed pipe underneath the van.

TOILET / SHOWER
The van comes with Thetford Porta Potty and a Camplux heated outdoor gas shower. The shower heats up super quickly and has decent water pressure for washing hair or hosing off a muddy dog (shower curtain included).

HEATING
The van has a 5kW Chinese Diesel heater which heats the living space in next to no time, keeping you toasty and warm during the winter months. The temperature can be adjusted using the control panel in the living area. It is connected to the van’s main diesel tank for ease of use.

STORAGE
In addition to the kitchen storage already mentioned, there is plenty of storage space under the seating in the living area (accessible both from inside the van and from the back) as well as the 4 large storage cabinets above. There are also 8 shelf spaces with bungy cord which are perfect for toiletries, games and other miscellaneous items. There are also 2x coat hooks & 2x dog accessory hooks.

ELECTRICAL SET-UP
Cecil has a 200W solar panel and 2 x 110Ah leisure batteries allowing you to stay completely off-grid.

It also has:
– DC to DC charger 20Ah (from the alternator)
– Mains hookup (also acts as a power supply unit)
– Leisure battery monitoring system
– Inverter 600W Modified Sine Wave
– 6 x LED lights
– 2 x USB ports
– 2 x 3 pin plug sockets
– Electric Certification 240v giving the buyer peace of mind

INSULATION
Cecil has been fitted out with sound deadening, insulation (earthwool loft roll 44), a polythene vapour barrier and auto carpet around windows to keep it well insulated.

WINDOWS & VENTILATION
The van is equipped with an adjustable air vent for airflow.
There are also 6 tinted windows with stylish custom made, lined blinds/curtains with leather fasteners.

ROOF RACK
The van comes with full length roof racks. The solar panel is purposely fitted to one side in order to allow plenty of room for surfboards, skis, paddleboards etc.

CABIN
Cecil is easy to drive and comes equipped with air-conditioning, cruise control and reversing camera and sensors which come in incredibly handy for parking in tight spaces! The cab is in very good condition and has digital radio, Bluetooth and USB plugs. It also had the chairs and bulkhead replaced as part of the conversion.
