Vehicle Description

Reluctant sale of a beautifully hand converted Vauxhall Vivaro. With driftwood features and reclaimed wood all round, this is truly a unique and beautiful conversion. This is the perfect van if you want a vehicle that you can still use as a daily commute while having the option of a fully functional campervan. This has taken me around the UK with no problems – even with a large RIB on the roof and outboard under the bed! Great for both weekend getaways and longer trips. A double bed, baby bed, oven, sink, electrics, lighting, full standing head height, and still small enough to fit down narrow country lanes and tight parking spaces without breaking a sweat! Only selling as I have bought a new vehicle to play with. Would be perfect for a couple with a baby, or a single adventurer like myself.

The Van:
β€’ Fitted with 4 new tyres, and 2 part worn spare snow tyres
β€’ Digital DAB radio with Bluetooth in the cab, as well as USB connection for phones etc
β€’ Rear ladder
β€’ Roof rack
β€’ Custom awning made from thick wooden dowels and a large sheet from Sri Lanka
β€’ Wooden floorboards treated with hard-wearing polyurethane varnish
β€’ Insulated pine cladding walls
β€’ Porthole in the ceiling
β€’ Skylight with mosquito net
β€’ Windows on both sides – one sliding window with bamboo and seashell fly curtain
β€’ Alarm
β€’ Driver’s airbag
β€’ Partial service history
β€’ Central locking
β€’ Two keys

Conversion Description

Inside:
β€’ Double bed that folds away into a comfy sofa
β€’ Homemade baby bed that could be used for extra storage. Custom-size mattress, mosquito net curtains and an elastic safety net to keep the baby/stored objects from rolling out, hidden storage underneath and mini ocean mural above
β€’ Storage cupboard lining the top of the walls
β€’ Even more storage space under the bed and in the kitchen – you will not be short of storage space!
β€’ Kitchenette with gas oven, grill and hobs
β€’ Foot pump powered tap over sink
β€’ Wooden sink cover that doubles as a chopping board (even more food prep surface)
β€’ Bamboo cutlery and utensil holders
β€’ Plate, cup and spice shelves in the back door
β€’ Bamboo drying rack in the other back door for wetsuits, swimsuits, etc.
β€’ Feature driftwood tree support in the back
β€’ Built-in boot cupboard in back door with tow rope, foot pump and jumper cables.
β€’ Curtains on windows and separating cabin from rear
β€’ Comes with thermal window covers (actually meant for a different van but they fit okay and do the job)

Electrics:
β€’ 2x 80ah leisure battery powering the lights, USB sockets and a 240v inverter
β€’ Recessed LED lighting in the ceiling
β€’ Boat spot lights above the sofa/bed and kitchen
β€’ Battery powered fairly lights
β€’ Exterior electrical hookup with split relay. This charges the leisure battery and powers two wall-mounted plug sockets
β€’ Everything fused and simple to access

Things to note:
β€’ Speed limiter stops the van going over 70mph, which given the price of fuel has been much more of a convenience than a hindrance!
β€’ One of the air con vent covers in the cab has loose plastic directional bits and one missing
β€’ The Bluetooth radio system’s microphone doesn’t seem to be working so talking on the phone through it doesn’t really work. I have also never actually used the radio on it as I always use my phone plugged in/via Bluetooth instead. Tried to use it today to check it works for selling and either I can’t figure it out or it can’t get signal
β€’ It’s all white on the outside but some bits are a slightly fresher white where the odd blemish has been touched up
β€’ There are a couple of advisories on the MOT that I have not had time to fix. All major work done however including welding in February of this year.

The van has done a little under 147500 miles and has nearly 11 months MOT. It drives easy and smoothly with no knocks or noises. 6 speed gear box so cruises at 70mph with no problems.

Feel free to ask questions or request more photos. Viewings are recommended to see just how special this van is. This will sell by the end of the month so please only genuine enquiries with money ready to go.

Thank you πŸ™‚
