2198cc engine. Diesel. Completely refurbished over the last 12 months, inside and out. Engine thoroughly inspected and all necessary work carried out to bring it into tip-top condition during March 2022. New tyres. MOT until 10.2.2023. Garage receipts available.
Custom made in 2021. Everything is new, and, sadly, unused because of unexpected health issues. We are not aiming to make a profit, but would like to recoup our costs, hence the price drop now I have worked out our expenses properly. At the start of the project, I had two vans to choose from and picked this one as it was clean, in very good condition and I knew its history. The cab seats three adults, there is plenty of leg room and it is comfortable for driving.
Inside the van, everything has been hand-built by a creative genius, using recycled wood on walls, floor and ceiling, and is fully insulated. It will sleep three adults, or two adults and two children. Mattresses are new and built to fit. The main bed has a slatted base, making it easy to remove for cleaning the dog space underneath. This has been designed to house up to 4 medium sized dogs and comes complete with a security gate which can be transferred to the outside van door for when you are parked but wish to contain the dogs. Under the bed has space for bowls, beds and other doggy paraphernalia. Our plan was that the dogs would travel securely in this section.
Generally, there are lots of shelves and plenty of storage inside steps, under seats and in secret cubby holes.
The table is solid wood with various swivel permutations to reach all the seating areas, provide additional work surface for the kitchen or be removed altogether.
Seating is comfortable for four and there are bright new curtains to screen the beds from the living area. All the cushions have been designed and made to coordinate with the curtains.
There is a large toilet compartment that could be fitted with a shower, if wanted. (We didn’t)
There is a solar panel on the roof (as well as the usual electric hook-up system) and a water tank underneath so you can go off-grid. All new cables and hoses are included.
Kitchen includes new fridge, hob and sink, with cupboards over and under.
A roll-up shutter at the back gives you additional security when leaving the van, and there is a lockable, characterful vintage door for daily use. The side windows open at the top and there is an individual porthole at the rear.
There is useful dry space at the back to keep wet raincoats and wellies out of the living area.
Double bed on main deck and small double for children in luton space above. Space for up to 4 dogs (or additional storage) under main bed.
