Fiat Ducato L3H2
Katla is a 2019 Fiat Ducato with a 6-speed manual gearbox and just 52,741 miles on the clock. We specifically chose the Ducato over its Peugeot Boxer and Citroën Relay cousins because it comes with the Iveco-derived engine, which is well known for being more reliable. The base vehicle cost more, but we felt it was absolutely worth it for peace of mind.
She’s had no mechanical issues whatsoever and has been extremely reliable throughout our ownership. The bodywork is in excellent condition, and she’s had just one previous owner before us (who happened to be a mechanic!).
Katla comes with a full service history (see photo). She’s due a full service, and we’ll ensure this is completed before collection. For total reassurance, we’ll also arrange and pay for a brand-new 12-month MOT for the new owner, even though the current MOT runs until January 2026.

Katla was professionally converted in 2024 by Camper Family Cymru, a small, highly-skilled team known for creating beautiful, high-quality vans. Every detail has been designed with comfort, practicality and family adventures in mind.
The interior blends Scandi-inspired style with luxury finishes. You’ll find solid oak worktops, durable birch ply cabinetry and hardwearing safety flooring throughout. The clever layout makes the most of every inch, with 5 berths (two double bunks + a single over-cab bed), a collapsible dining table, and ample storage — from the XL tall cupboard to deep kitchen units and a huge space beneath the bunks.
The kitchen is fully equipped for family cooking, featuring:
• Two-burner gas hob
• Deep black sink with mixer tap (and hot water from the gas boiler!)
• Extendable oak worktop for extra prep space
• Integrated fridge and generous storage
• Electric water drainage pump for easy washing up!
• Solar panels on roof to last days off grid (but there’s also a connection point for electric – though we’ve never needed this)
• Rear shower attachment with hot water — perfect for sandy kids, muddy dogs, or rinsing off after the beach.
• There’s a Truma gas boiler for both heating and hot water – the van is super cosy even on winter trips.
• To maximise living space inside, Katla comes with underslung gas and fresh/grey water tanks, making the interior feel bigger and more open. Power is handled via solar panels and an inverter, giving you the freedom to enjoy off-grid adventures without compromise.
• There’s also hand-made thermal blackout blinds for all windows, four LED reading lights with USB chargers in the beds, and a Fiamma awning for shade (or rain) protection.
• There are two skylights (one with a fan) and the van is fully insulated and soundproofed, making it warm, quiet and comfortable all year round.
• Pre-approved for Quirky Campers rental! We never got round to renting it out in the end but this is definitely an option for the new owners to earn some extra cash when it’s not in use.
• Brand-new Thetford Porta Potti (never used)

This is a high-spec, family-friendly conversion where every material and feature has been chosen with care.
Selling Katla is genuinely bittersweet for us — she’s given us (two adults, two kids and a golden retriever) some of our happiest family memories. But we’ve just moved house and need to fund building work, so it’s time for her next adventure.
2 full-width double bunk beds with IKEA mattresses. Portholes cut to stretch legs full length. The mattresses are 3-4cm too long and we’d planned to cut them to fit but never bothered as they squish in, but of course you could do this if desired.
