Fantastic professionally converted Renault Master LWB ex-ambulance 2 berth camper van. 241292 miles. Selling due to change in circumstances.
The van has had all the electrics rewired in the past 4 months by a professional electrical mechanic and the gas pipes changed to copper last year by a Corgi registered gas engineer.
The van has had some body work completed during last MOT so all of that is up to scratch now.
New alternator and windscreen wipers installed last year. All tyres replaced in 2020.
Diesel 2.2 engine and main battery replaced last year to a bigger capacity by the AA.
The leisure battery is all connected up with a safety RCD installed.
The van can be used on 12v and 240v when hooked up on site. The leisure battery charges when driving and also keeps the fridge cold which is fantastic for long journeys so food won’t go off. The fridge also has a freezer box which works on 240v and on gas for when hookup is not available.
The lights work on 12v and 240v. The whole van is fully insulated, carpeted throughout and recently decorated. It also comes with blackout blinds on the windows.
The bathroom has a Thetford toilet with electric flush, and the cassette is located on the outside of the van so no unpleasant smells inside. The bathroom is quite spacious and has overhead storage space.
There are plenty of plug and USB sockets, with a voltage display.
The sofa pulls out on tracks to convert to a double bed. Another bed could easily be installed in the van as there is plenty of room once the double bed is pulled out. There is also a dining room table which can be removed and stored away when the bed is in use.
The kitchen has a full cooker with oven, grill and 3 hobs powered by gas. There is a sink with taps which are plumbed to the water storage. The kitchen has lots of storage cupboards for food, crockery and pots and pans.
There is also a large storage area above the front cab which can be used to store the living room table, bedding and camp chairs. Under the sofa/bed there are also extra storage areas. There is a wardrobe above the fridge which has plenty of space for clothes and shoes. There is also plenty of storage in rear of the van where the water storage is for equipment, muddy boots etc.
A TV aerial equipped is also equipped with a socket on the inside to connect to the aerial.
The van has a skylight which can be pushed up on both sides for ventilation and a cooling breeze on those summer nights.
The gas bottle is stored externally, insulated and with regulator connected. The van also has a tow bar fitted.
I will include the step into the van, gas bottle which is a quarter full, blinds, sofa/bed cushions.
The van drives fantastically well and surprisingly is not a gas guzzler at all. We have easily drove around for a 2 week holiday without needing to fill up again.
