Ford Transit Trend
Ford Transit Trend FWD, EURO 4, 2.2L Engine, Diesel, 6 gears, MOT due in October 2023.
This van is in excellent driving condition with good emissions. Throw your surfboards on the roof bars, and bikes in the back, or simply load it up with the camping essentials. I’ve used the van for weekends running and camping in the beautiful national parks of the UK, parked up in any of the quant simple campsites these areas offer. But, I have also taken trips to the Alps and the French coast. With a few recent modifications, this little van is now equipped for the outdoor cook-up with a rear sliding draw which doubles up as an excellent rear cooking area for the sunnier evenings!
This van is ready to hit the road with whatever adventure you might have in mind but equally gives the opportunity for any potential new owner to change things up inside if needs suit.
There are some scratches to the paintwork and some rust patches along the bottom sides. Just the normal wear and tear of a 13 year old van, pictures can be sent if requested. N.B. The brake discs are nearing replacement.
Now for the more nitty gritty features:
12v Multi Meter with switches controlling lights and tap water pump. 1200W Power Inverter is connectable to two 3-pin plug sockets. Standalone shore power hook-up which also connects to the 3-pin plugs. 12v Water Pump & Tap with a 10 Litre Cold Water Tank and a 10 Litre Waste Tank. 100ah leisure battery connected to starter battery via 12v Split Charge Relay and a 100W solar panel. 4x 12v warm LED Roof Lights. Lots of storage space with a queen-sized bed that is made from a L/U-Shaped sofa arrangement. The van is insulated, with a moisture barrier too.
This conversion was lovingly completed as a personal project. Structures are mainly timber-framed and I’ve used some old wardrobe panels to try to complete the build sustainably. I am sad to be selling but my needs have changed!
Needless to say, a perfect van for road trips, ready to hit the road!

Roughly a queen-sized fixed bed, this could easily be changed to allow for a seating area with a foldaway bed.
