Campervans for Sale Ford Transit Camper Conversion
Ford Transit Campervan Conversion 2005
Selling my much loved campervan as need to save up money.
Within the last two years it has had a new water pump, drive shaft, drive belt and power steering pump serviced. Has had yearly oil, diesel and air filter changes. Had some welding done last October.
It has a very spacious and homely feel inside.
The bed is permanently down and can fit two people comfortably under 5ft 8 or taller diagonally. The bed is on a futon base that can also click up into a sofa both facing in or out. Registered as a converted camper for insurance purposes.
The van also contains:
Waeco Coolmax 12v fridge
2 burner cooker
Whale tap with foot pump
40l fresh water tank
23l grey water tank
Leisure battery
Three 12v charging ports in the rear of the van
12v to 240v inverter
Dual 240v socket, when connected to mains.
additional stereo in back with built in speakers
Removable dining table
passenger chair swivels around so two can dine at the table
Lots of under bed storage.
Black out curtains
Tyres have plenty of tread on them.
The campervan has been designed and build for comfort and practicality to be used predominantly for stealth wild camping. It all runs off a 12v system and has for cooking so can be used off grid as much as possible. I have had lots of great adventures in the van around the UK in the last year and will be very sad to see it go. MOT valid until the 29th September.
Issues/Problems:
There is a question over how many miles the van has actually done. On the speedometer it says 204,235 but the last owner claimed that this was much higher than the true miles which would now be 100,000 due to the van being a former minibus and having a tachometer which then had to be replaced with a new gearbox and second hand speedometer with more miles. This is confirmed on the MOT record with a switch from km to miles and a leap in mileage. However, I wasn’t 100% convinced with this so will be selling the van as if it had done the miles shown on the current speedo.
There are small patches of rust on the outer bodywork which could benefit from some TLC.
