We built Fran ourselves over eighteen months. She’s solid where it matters, and she’s never once left us stranded.
Fran has taken us through the Scottish Highlands, along the Welsh coast, across to Ireland, and to countless corners of England we’d never have found otherwise. She was there on our wedding day. She’s been our kitchen, our bedroom, our office. She’s the place where we learned to live smaller and feel richer for it.
Now, we’re moving on to starting a family, but selling Fran comes with a heavy heart.
We’re looking for someone who’ll appreciate what she is: a self-built home made for full-time off-grid living, designed by people who both lived & worked in her.

This is a self-build. It’s not a factory finish and never will be. The radio doesn’t work. The interior paint could use a refresh and the colour is… an acquired taste. But mechanically, she’s sound. She’s never let us down. She’ll come with a fresh MOT (w/c 6th April) and a full valet inside and out.
Fran needs someone who sees the love in the imperfections. Someone who wants a home, not a showpiece.
If that’s you – she’s ready when you are.
Motorised bed lift for a double bed – mattress included
Space under the bed for 2 children – needs mattress
