Full time, super high spec 2022 plate new VW Crafter Conversion!

This beautiful conversion was carried out in Summer 2022 and was built to the highest possible spec with carefully considered materials and products to enable full time off grid VanLife! The build will be completed in the next fortnight with only the tap, fridge an a couple of tweaks to be finalised – if you have any specific requests to these items – please get in touch ASAP.

Overall layout and build:
The conversion consists of a kitchen and living area near the front with ample storage and passenger swivel seat. A thermal blackout curtain divides the cab for privacy and stealth! A Maxx Air Fan provides good extraction for cooking and the windows allow for amazing views and added ventilation. The windows also have inbuilt fly screens and smart blinds – a lovely streamlined addition, meaning no clipping on or off of cumbersome curtains! Also at the front is a secret bathroom, whose ‘lid’ hooks on neatly to the Ash bookshelf! In here, you’ll find a ventilated Simploo Composting Toilet. This space could also be utilised as a pop up shower if the purchaser wishes to install one – the pipework is there and ready. Toward the rear of the van is a dining/living area with 2 facing seats with luxurious, custom upholstered cushions. Over-cab and overhead cupboards provides ample room for full time living and clothing storage. The king size bed can double as a couch in “day mode” (if a slightly thinner mattress is used) and at night, pulls out in to a full size (200cm long) king bed, utilising an easy, clever pull out bed system, which stows neatly during the day. The van has a 4/5G wifi antenna and router wiring, as well as being projector-ready, with a built in HDMI running behind the walls into the seat so you can plug in your favourite streaming device and projector screen ceiling hooks. Theres a good sized pet bed beneath the human bed for your four-legged friends, or this could also act as extra storage. Being a MWB van, we also wanted to make sure there was plenty of roof rack/roof box space remaining for all your outdoor gear or boards, with a nice powder coated ladder taking you to the roof. The materials used for this build are excellent quality, with Morland Lightweight Furniture Board being used throughout and poplar ply for non-structural sections. The floor is waterproof engineered boards and Ash is used for aesthetic finishes, providing a light, Scandi vibe.
