Registered in 2022, the van was originally leased by a local joiner before I bought the van for the conversion. It is in great condition and drives very smoothly, with 6 manual gears, cruise control, sat-nav, bluetooth/phone connection and all standard things you would expect of a four year old vehicle. It’s flown through all its MOT’s with zero issues, and the van will be sold with a fresh service for peace of mind for the new owner.
The kitchen includes a 2-burner Thetford gas hob, an 85-litre fridge/freezer, hot & cold sink and tap, full height pull-out larder unit and six drawers offering ample storage. Finished with stylish black moisture resistant kitchen units and solid oak worktop and table. There are also three overhead cupboards. The bench seats also have ample storage underneath, and if that isn’t enough, there is an extra storage space above the cab. The garage under the bed offers extra storage to the living space and is also home to the water system, water heater and electrical system. There is also a full height internal shower with hot water and Thetford porta-potti toilet with pump flush. The van is fully insulated and has Dodo acoustic sound deadening panels.

Water/Gas system:
A 95 litre freshwater tank and 62 litre waste water tank are underslung, saving space inside, and there is both an external pressurised fill up point and drain valve. Water filter, Shurflo Trail King 7 30PSI Water Pump and a Shurflo expansion vessel are situated in the garage along with the Bobil hot water heater. A 25ltr undermounted gas tank feeds the hob and there is a gas shut off valve inside the van to control the gas flow at the press of a button. Again, the gas has an externally mounted fill up point.
Lighting & Power:
The van is lit with LED spotlights in the ceiling, including the shower. There is also an undermounted LED strip on the underside of the kitchen cupboards, an LED bar in the garage and also three adjustable reading lights, two on either side of the bed and one over the kitchen table, all with integrated USB sockets.

The van has been lovingly converted over the last year. It is a 2 berth van with a full-sized king bed to the rear. It has a tri-fold mattress, so folds up nicely when not in use and means you get the best of both worlds, with space when not in use, and the ease of not having to make up/pack down a bed every day – just slide in and out, simples….:)
