Cam / timing belt was replaced a year or two ago when it had a recall oil seal replacement (it made sense to do the timing belt while it was apart)
A much loved and looked after fully off-grid, no-compomises van you can do long touring / live in. I’ve travelled through France, Spain, Portugal, and lots of Scotland in it. 2018 VW Crafter, TDi 140 manual Bluemotion, 85k miles, LWB with mid height (L2H2). Euro 6 (so no ULEZ to pay), Apple CarPlay / Android Play, distance sensors, cruise control and limit, spare wheel with good tyre, Camper Glass privacy windows, all recalls done and fully serviced. MoT until Jan 2026 (never had any problems passing!) Electric adjust swivel Audi RS leather seats – the most comfortable drive you’ll ever have!
Professional electrical design by Roamer, 400ah lithium battery, Victron MultiPlus 3000 inverter charger, Victron Lynx 1000 bus bar fuse system, Victron SmartSolar MPPT 100|50 solar charger, Victron Orion-TR Smart 12|12 vehicle to leisure charger, Victron Cerbo GX touch panel, Victron battery temp/state sensor, Victron Smart Shunt, Victron Smart Power (over/under volt cutoff), Victron shore power connection, 450W solar panels on roof.
Dual Maxxfans, full (domestic quality) hot/cold shower, Simploo composting toilet with fan vent below van, 6kw combi electric and diesel water heater and space heater (Chinese version of Truma Combi D6E).
All electric, no gas. Induction hob, microwave, 12v fridge freezer, Nespresso coffee machine, TV (monitor with Roku), LTE/4G wifi router, Amazon Alexa. Underslung 100L fresh water, 40L waste water, with content gauges on Victron Cerbo, and wiring for heating (I found I didn’t need it for my usage). Internal drinking water tank with pump/tap.
More than one tracker fitted! Rear camera, with optional second.

Extra large double bed, “dinette” style so converts to double bench seating with table in the middle.
185 x 170 means that even two people over 6′ can fit with a little ‘diagonal’, and when the table is up, it can comfortably seat 8 people
