Citroen Relay 33 HDI MWB
Fully Off-Grid Camper Van (with unique Dog sleeping area).
3 front seats (the passenger seat swivels to make additional seating in the living area).
It is registered as a van with DVLA (not as a motorhome).
I have put lots of photos showing all the details of the van, so hopefully the information below, along with the photos will answer any questions you have.
MECHANICAL
Citreon Relay 33 HDI 100 MWB Diesel
99131 miles (note this will increase slightly as we are still using locally for occasional night away).
MOT 18/10/25
Full Service October 2024 (97847 miles).
The OSF Wheel bearing was replaced at the same time as it was an MOT item.
There is a reversing camera.
Apple/Android car play device which can be tuned to radio.
ELECTRICAL
300ah Lithium Fogstar Drift Battery
Victron 12-30 B2B (Charges the lithium battery when the engine is running, rate of 30 amps per hour).
Victron Smart Solar MPPT 100-20 (Charges the lithium battery from the solar panel).
3000w 12to240v Inverter which runs from the lithium battery.
240v hook up for when on campsite.
Fogstar battery charger which can be used to charge the battery when on hookup or at home.
KITCHEN
Microwave oven (powered via the inverter).
Dometic combined 2 ring gas hob and grill.
Dometic Sink with hot/cold running water (12v Shure flo pump)
Isotherm 12v fridge with freezer compartment.
Utensils with magnetic holder on wall.
LIVING AREA
3/4 width double bed with memory foam topper and teddy bear bedding. The bed is permanently set up. I am 5’11”, my wife is 5’ 9” and the bed is roomy and comfortable enough for us.
Unique Dog living area under the bed with caged front door. Roomy enough for our Female German Shepherd.
Note: The dog area can be removed and the van put back into having a larger seating area (as it was originally when first converted).
240v TV (powered by inverter) mounted on swivel so can be used in bed or sitting up. There is an external freeview antenna but we don’t use it as we have the firestick connected.
Amazon Alexa and Firestick.
Huwaii wifi router (connected to external antenna). Just add your own data sim card. This provides excellent wifi and we use it for the Alexa and Firestick to stream netflix etc and listen to music.
Front passenger seats swivel into the seating area.
Removable table which is neatly stored at the rear of the van.
Diesel Heater
Maxair Fan
SHOWER & TOILET
Seperate shower cubicle with louvred door.
Small thetford porta potty.
Stand up shower with hot/cold running water.
WATER SUPPLY
Large fresh and waste water tanks with drain outlets. (Sorry I don’t know the capacity but it holds lots).
Shure Flo 12v pump.
Truma Therme immersion heater which runs off the Lithium Battery (via the inverter). In winter it will use approx 10% battery to heat 10 litres of water for a nice hot shower. In summer it uses less battery power.
SUMMARY
We purchased the van in Sept 2024 and we spent a long time looking for a van with a living area for our dog. Due to increased work commitments we haven’t found the time to get away as much as we wanted.
The van has everything you need for as much time away as you need, you could even live in it full time.
The previous owner made the addition of the dog area. Prior to that the van was converted by a chap who worked for a conversion company (as can be seen by the excellent quality electrical and water components used), he used it to travel across France for a whole summer before selling it to the chap we bought it from.
I hope that you have all the information you need, but please ask if there is anything else you need to know.
