Plaxton Panorama 1 Bedford VAM 5
Our beautiful Panorama is up for reluctant sale. She is 55 years old now, so MOT and tax exempt. We’ve owned her for two and a half years and have lived in her whilst carrying out a full re-fit during that time. She is registered as a motorhome on the logbook.
Mechanically the bus is very sound, and she drives beautifully! There is a lot of history and manuals to go with it. For 36 years it was owned by racing mechanics and was driven sparingly. The mileage is unknown, as the engine was replaced at some point in her past, and the odometer does not work correctly. The bodywork is generally good. There is one scrape down the lower left skirt, but otherwise is in pretty good shape considering its age.
The brakes have recently been serviced, along with some minor repairs including the windscreen wipers.
She’s fully insulated, and all windows have been removed and refitted with new bespoke window rubbers. The hardwood frames and steels were repaired at the same time, where some water damage had occurred from the previous perished window rubbers.
