Volkswagen Type 2 Bay Window Panel Van
We’ve owned since 2005, did a full resto in 2012, has been used only in summer and dry stored in winter since, so still in great condition.
This is a solid bus, it must be seen to appreciated – this is rare for a UK vehicle.
The engine is strong and is running very nicely and mechanicals are all sound, usual service and MOT and no expense spare maintenance as carried out every year done back in spring – although I’ve been too busy to sell seriously.
It’s a 40 year old, so there’s always things to do- fuel gauge not working, needs passenger mirror but nothing major.
We will be at busfest Malvern this weekend if you want to view.
Just a bed and trim done in black and orange. We wanted to keep our van’s use flexible and also not cook in it, nor cut it up and ruin its heritage. All you see can be reverted back to original.
Rock ‘n’ Roll bed. We used a popup tent for kitchen.
