This top of the range campervan conversion really does have it all. Baobab was created as our show vehicle and show cases the best of our sort after work.
At Right to Roam we are renowned for our exquisite attention to detail and perfect craftsmanship. Baobab was advertised for rent on Quirky Campers and was instantly a huge success. Due to Covid she was rented a handful of times but even in this short period she was the talk of the town, becoming the new obsession and promoted widely by Quirky themselves.

Every inch of this van has been carefully thought out and hand crafted. The interior has been expertly designed using shadow gap birch ply cladding, bamboo rattan roller blinds, colour coded linen soft furnishings and multiple storage compartments. One top feature of Baobab is the double shower set up. She has both an internal and external hot water shower. The hot water is powered by a Propex water heater which used the 55ltr underslung LPG gas tank.

As a company our passion is in off grid living, giving you the Right to Roam. Our vans come with a full off grid set up and Baobab is no exception. On the roof of Baobab is a 350w solar panel. This is then connected to a full Victron powered off grid setup internally worth of £6000. We don’t cut corners with our conversions and use the best possible products available to us. The benefit of having a full Victron set up is the support Victron offer on all their products, giving you peace of mind that you’re in safe hands.

Baobab really is a tiny home on wheels. She has everything you could need be it for a holiday in the Uk, long trip abroard or even to live in her.

The fixed king size bed runs length ways so even the tallest of people will sleep comfortably in her.

Another passion of ours is mood lighting. We all hate staring at bright white lights so all of our lighting is warm white and each light comes with its individual dimmer switch. In the bed area of Baobab you have 2 lighting options. The 2 bedside reading lights (which also have built in usb sockets for charging your mobiles at night!) and the hidden led strips which go around the ceiling of the van. These create the perfect ambience for a romantic night in or a safe haven to read a good book.

If your going to be travelling to hot countries in a van you need to think about air circulation and ventilation to keep you cool at night. At Right to Roam we are very aware of this and have created a great setup in Baobab to help you have a peaceful nights sleep. Above the bed we have a skylight and either side of the bed we have 2 vent windows and 2 12v fans. The combination of these helps air circulate and creates a soft breeze over you at night.

The kitchen area of Baobab combines everything you could need to create a feast in a compact and efficient way. The Copper Belfast sink really gives her the WOW factor and you will be the envy of every passer-by. Under the sink is a 3 compartment pull out bin allowing you to separate your rubbish, recycling and food waste on the road. As well as an LPG oven/grill and 2 burner hob Baobab has plenty of storage for your pots, pans, plates and cutlery. One of the neatest things in Baobabs kitchen is the pull out T towel/ clothes dryer, giving you a spot to dry these much needed essentials on the road. Furthermore food and clothes storage is no problem in Baobab as she has a full set of large draws for all your essentials and a large storage compartment over the cab for the really big items.

The dining set up in Baobab is created by turning the double swivel and drivers seat around. This really opens up the space in the van and creates a lovely open feeling. The beautifully crafted Ash dining table slots onto a Lagun table leg and folds out to create a large dining table. The table design has been taken from the best features of boat manufacturing and uses beautiful brass flush hinges which work perfectly for this set up.

Another top feature of Baobab is the huge rear draw. This pulls out at the back of the van and is perfect storage for all your camping essentials. In this garage area you also have the rear shower to hose yourself off after coming out of the surf, a muddy bike or even wet dogs!

Baobab herself in in perfect condition. She has had a full recent service and MOT and comes with full service history. We have changed the original head unit to a Pioneer stereo which is bluetooth accessible so you can play your music on the move and has a large monitor screen which is connected to the rear camera to help you park in those tricky spots.

All in all she is a wonderful van and will make someones van-life dreams come true.
