Vehicle Description

Maggie the Mazda Bongo is looking for a new home!

If you’re looking for an easy to drive camper, which can also double as your everyday vehicle, Maggie will be perfect for you. She drives really well, and we have been on adventures with her all over, to Cornwall, Wales, and last year we travelled all the way from Exeter up to Scotland to spend a couple weeks exploring the beautiful NC500. I’ve never experienced a breakdown whilst I’ve been driving her!

I’ve personalised her with vintage fabric and made pockets that tie to the back of the seats, and pockets along the top walls of the van, as well as curtain in a floral pattern separating the front driving area to the back, and floral curtains on the back window. The new owner is welcome to keep these decorative parts, or they can be removed without leaving any marks/damage to the van.

Last July she received a full service and had further work done. Here is a list of some of the repairs/investments I have made since having her:
Replaced front suspension arm
Repaired coolant leak
Welding repairs to front cross member
New exhaust fitted

She has some rust spots on the bodywork (if you’ve done much research into Bongos you’ll know by now that this is a very common issue). I had her undersealed when I first got her and had rust improvement work done to the actual frame of the car. The paint work isn’t perfect, with a few scratches and paint missing (to be expected for this age of car). And there is a superficial dent on the back drivers side, which hasn’t effected the paint on the car. The electric hook up needs to be re-secured as can be a little temperamental (but still works when taped).

Parting ways with this lovely vehicle because I’m getting a bigger van. Happy to answer any other questions and will accept a reasonable offer!
