Carried out to a high standard by professionals in their trade and myself (a chemical engineer) with previous DYI experience. More than 16 months has passed since the completion of the conversion and all systems have been running smoothly. Have not changed the vehicle type on V5, still registered as panel van and this has not been an issue with insurance companies. I did not want to add graphics on the outside and an awning bar as it would not be a stealthy conversion anymore but the new owner is welcome to do this if they wish to meet DVLA standards for motorhome classification. This has not impacted my insurance and I pay a reasonable £650 per annum for a comprehensive cover.
