Meet “Monty” a 2021 Vauxhall Vivaro 2900 Dynamic diesel van 1.5 L engine with 6 speed manual gearbox freshly converted to a full kitted-out campervan.
The van itself, with only 68,600 miles, has been well looked after with only superficial chips and scratches to the paintwork which can all be seen in the photos. Passed MOT (24/05/25) with no failures or advisories. Brand new Continental All-Season tires (worth £800) make the van smooth and fuel efficient all year round. ULEZ compliant so perfect for London/Bristol/Portsmouth. Previously a works van, it has 2 years full service history, I’ve maintained the look to keep it stealthy. The low height means to can be parked in more places giving more options for stealth camping than a high top van.

Conversion has been done to high standard as I had planned to spend my summer travelling with Monty. However, my plans have changed and I have spent the first half of this year travelling overseas, so I’m settling back to reality and looking for someone else to enjoy exploring with the van!
It is fully equipped with everything you need to go camping and take advantage of the excellent weather we’re having! Ready for an excellent summer holiday or awesome festival season.
Monty is a neatly converted campervan that strikes a careful balance between comfort, design, and weight-saving to keep running costs low. It features an oak wood floor and Dulux gloss paint, while using laminate countertops and a steel sink to save weight over stone or porcelain alternatives.
Great attention has been given to insulation—floor, ceiling, and walls are extensively lined with foam and recycled plastic insulation, then finished with auto-carpet to retain heat. This has been a success: the van has been comfortably slept in down to 1°C in winter and is quiet to drive. Combined with a 15 cm thick memory foam mattress, you’re guaranteed a good night’s sleep in any weather.
Monty is an all-electric campervan, powered by a 304Ah Fogstar lithium battery system, charged by a 200W Renogy solar panel and Renogy 50A DC-DC charger from the alternator. Power is delivered to both 12V USB outlets and 240V appliances via a robust 3000W Renogy inverter, which can handle high-energy devices like an induction hob and air fryer with ease and safety. Over £1,200 was spent on building this electrical system to provide high-powered living on the road.
Also powered are an electric water pump, a 28L chest fridge, a high-powered roof vent fan, and two rows of dimmable LED strip lights hidden within ceiling slats—offering a soft, dispersed glow that’s much more ambient than the usual spotlights. The electrical system is built with high-quality cabling and circuit protection to reduce risks of failure or fire. It’s more sustainable, reliable, and safer than gas-based systems—without the cost or hassle of replacing canisters.

• Interior and exterior thermal windscreen covers for insulation and privacy
• Full bedding set with cushions and blankets for cold nights
• Remote-controlled LED lighting
• 4 USB outlets (front and rear)
• 304 Ah Li battery with bluetooth battery monitoring
• Solar panel and alternator charging
• 500W electric heater for chilly evenings
• Kitchen appliances: Salter air fryer, Vango induction hob, kettle
• 3000A DC-AC inverter makes it safe for appliances to be used simultaneously
• Brand new 5-piece Salter induction pan set (with lids)
• Lightweight plastic cookware and dining set to reduce rattling and weight
• Two easy-up camping chairs
• Pull-out cooking drawer with adjacent 240V socket for outdoor use

Rear seats convert exactly into a double bed (190 x 150 cm) making it easy to find sheets and duvets that fit. Comfortably sleeps two people and tall people (owner is 191 cm).
