The Conversion –

Lovingly designed to be bright, cosy, practical and easy to use.

Insulation:

Fully insulated using premium materials:

✅ 12mm Nomad closed-cell insulation to the floor and ceiling
✅ 5mm Nomad closed-cell insulation to the walls
✅ Remaining cavities filled with Eco Roll insulation
✅ Sound deadening throughout

These are non-moisture absorbent materials and help keep the van warm in winter and cooler in summer.

Sleeping:

✅ Full-size double bed (plus space either size)
✅ Brand new comfy eco memory foam mattress by RattanTree
✅ Extra space either side of the mattress for a roomier feel plus handy storage for books, phones, water bottles and other essentials
✅ Large, versatile storage underneath bed

Off-Grid Power:

A simple, reliable off-grid power system without the complication or maintenance of a leisure battery setup.

✅ Bluetti Elite 100 V2 Portable Power Station
✅ Charger installed to recharge directly from the engine while you drive
✅ Fully recharges from empty in around 70 minutes
✅ Set up for solar & cable included so easy to add if you wish
✅ Can also be easily charged from a standard plug socket at home / on the road in 60 mins

The Bluetti is completely portable, so you can lift it out of the van to power camping, festivals, garden projects or picnics, and it makes an excellent backup during power cuts at home.

It includes:

• 2 x 240V sockets
• USB-C
• USB ports
• 12V cigarette socket (neatly wired to power the fridge)

Kitchen:

• Deep undermount sink
• Whale hand-pump tap
• 10L fresh water container (plus spare containers for quick swapping)
• 10L waste water container for easy emptying
• Birch plywood worktop finished with Danish Oil
• Flush sink cover providing extra worktop space when not in use

Finished with beautiful Spanish Green tiles and vintage-style handles.

Above the sink is a reclaimed antique wooden shelf, perfect for toiletries, tea, coffee or everyday essentials.

Fridge:

✅ Deep and practical Alpicool 25L portable compressor fridge/coolbox
✅ Mounted on a bespoke pull-out drawer for easy access when in our out the van

Outdoor Shower:

Nook includes a 20L FLEXTAILGEAR portable shower with a built in electrical pump, rechargeable via USB-C (nearly from the Bluetti). Can be hung from the hook on the rear door, or taken to a tree or just place on the ground, making it easy to use wherever you are.

Portable Loo:

After trying Porta Pottis over the years, we found ourselves much preferring the Bivvy Loo. Originally designed for military use, it’s lightweight, incredibly sturdy and folds down in seconds when not needed.

It stores neatly beneath the sink or folds away flat, making it a brilliant space-saving solution.

It comes complete with waste bags and absorbent sachets that turn liquids into a gel, making it clean, simple and surprisingly pleasant to use. It’s one of those little additions that genuinely makes van life easier—and something we’ve loved using ourselves. The one we’re including we’ve used once!

Living Space:

✅ Double passenger swivel seat
✅ Bespoke birch plywood table for dining, relaxing or remote working

The swivel double passenger seat and bespoke table create a comfortable dining area or a practical desk space for working on the road.

Interior Finish:

• Reclaimed antique pine from Glastonbury used on feature walls & rear doors
• Wood finished with Danish Oil
• Cabinetry painted in Farrow & Ball School House White

We find these combinations and finishing touches make Nook cosy but bright and a lovely space to be in.

Privacy & Stealth:

We added forest Green thermal blackout curtains to provide privacy, insulation and security while maintaining the van’s stealth appearance. Parked in a city, by the coast or in the countryside, the van feels secure and comfortable.

Flooring:

• Durable painted plywood floor (three coats of floor paint)
• Black rubber matting in the garage area for added protection

Lighting:

Instead of fixed spotlights, we’ve like a warm rechargeable USB-C lamp with adjustable brightness settings, creating a cosy atmosphere inside the van. Happy to include this with the sale.
