BRAND NEW CONVERSION
Step inside Nova and you’ll find a handcrafted timber interior designed for comfort, practicality, and off-grid living. The build is completely gas-free, powered instead by a premium diesel hob/heater unit that provides both efficient cooking and reliable warmth. Unlike gas systems, it dries the air and requires no bottles or refills, making it simpler and safer for long-term use.
Behind the timber cladding, the walls, ceiling, and floor are fully insulated with a combination of Dodo Mat sound-deadening and Dodo Fleece thermal insulation. This reduces road noise, keeps the van warm in winter, and helps it stay cool in summer. Combined with efficient ventilation and the diesel heating system, Nova is built for true year-round comfort.
A 200W solar panel paired with a 100Ah Kepworth lithium battery and 30A Renogy charge controller provides dependable off-grid power. The lithium battery includes a built-in mains charging socket for use at campsites when needed, and a 2000W pure sine inverter is fitted for running standard 240V appliances. All electrics have been carefully designed for low energy use, powering LED lighting, a 50L LG compressor fridge/freezer, and the diesel hob’s startup cycle with ease.
The kitchen features a vintage copper sink with a custom tap, fed by an electric pump and 25L water tank. Solid Beech worktop and bespoke cabinetry are complemented by copper details throughout the build. Storage is maximised with handcrafted cupboards, under-bed compartment, and overhead lockers, offering ample space for longer trips.
Ventilation is provided by two fixed vents. One vent is fitted beneath the bed to help push cold air out when the heating is on, keeping the sleeping area warm and snug.
Sleeping is easy thanks to a full-size fixed double bed with recessed wall panels for extra legroom. The layout is built around comfort and practicality — no daily bed conversions, just a cozy permanent space to relax at the end of the day.
Additional features include a Thetford cassette toilet, 4 240v sockets, 2 USB sockets and thoughtful design touches that make Nova feel like a true home on wheels. With its lightweight build, this camper is fully equipped for both weekend escapes and long off-grid journeys.
