VW Transporter T32 automatic
The van has automatic transmission. It has full service history and all receipts for work kept. MOT and full service was carried out in March. Cambelt replaced last month. The bodywork is in great condition as any surface rust has been treated as it appeared. Engine size is 1968 CC.
This off-grid cozy camper was professionally converted three years ago by Twin Coast Campers. It’s had 2 previous owners as a trade van and since then has taken me to adventures around the UK. It’s been well taken care of with service log and receipts of work carried out to prove it. Service and MOT was completed just last month.
Both the front driver and passenger front seats swivel. The curtains go around the front dash and an additional swivel table sits between the seats, extending the living space. A 240v plug socket here enables you to charge a laptop even when off-grid.
The campervan also boasts a shower and porta potty toilet, diesel heater, four USB sockets, electric fridge freezer, 2 ring gas hob, deep kitchen sink, loads of storage, additional pull out table and a sofa that extends into an additional single bed (It extends to size 31″ wide and 71.6″ long and whilst designed to be a child’s bed, I have slept on it plenty of times). It has a 69-litre fresh water tank plus 10-litre hot water tank. The pop up roof provides the roomy double bed.
And an additional shower, awning and electric hook-up can be found externally. 10 metre hook-up cable is included as well as the hose and hozelock fittings to fill the water tank. There’s also a separate hose for the waste water.
The campervan has sliding doors on either side and this second door can be opened to provide more ventilation around the kitchen but also provides more hanging space for coats and shoes.
The solar panel means you can stay off-grid but if you do hook up, there are two additional 240v plug sockets for use on-grid and with these you can plug in a 2-person air fryer and toaster which are included.
The campervan started life as a trade van and she was converted for my family of three to go away on camping adventures and festivals. As my son is disabled, and relies on a wheelchair we needed our own shower room that could accommodate his toilet/shower chair, has a ramp that fits over the steps at the side sliding door and floor fixings for four removable Q’RESTRAINT fixings and seatbelt behind the passenger seat which secures a wheelchair when travelling.
I wanted something easy to drive and park and so approached Twin Coast Campers in Devon who managed to design everything we needed inside a T32 VW Transporter. She’s beautiful and cosy for a two-person adventure but also has the functionality to accommodate a disabled child to enjoy camping, too!
The van can be hooked up to 240v power via a hook up lead and output. This is separate to the leisure battery. The leisure battery is charged in 3 ways:
1. The engine running
2. Solar from the solar panels
3. When on hook up.
The electrics are protected by fuses There’s a 12-way blade fuse board. Spare fuses are included.

The campervan sleeps two adults on the double bed in the pop top roof. The size of the mattress is 41″ wide and 6ft long. During the day the bed can be pushed up for extra headspace. The pop top has two windows on the sides, and the front can be fully opened for ventilation and to enjoy the views.
The sofa can be extended into a single bed. It extends to size 31″ wide and 71.6″ long so is most suitable for a child. An adult can comfortably sleep on it but their feet will stick out at the bottom!!
There is a safety side and a gap between it and the kitchen so that you can still access the kitchen when the bed is out.
