Citroen Relay L4H2
Latest ULEZ, Euro 6, 2.2 litre engine, diesel, adblue, approximately 30mpg, 6 gears, engine under 30,000 mile warranty, bodywork silver grey.
MOT due in 2023.
Our conversion was carried out by Pdubz of Hitchin, Hertfordshire.
We bought our van new from Purevans in Wales, it came as a standard panel van with three front seats, bulkhead has been removed and now has two front swivel seats, the rock and roll style bed was custom made by a company in Sheffield as we wanted to maximise space in the main area of the van, the seat/bed is M1 certificated.
We recently upgraded the LPG pipework to copper as required by the current gas safety regs and have the relevant and current gas safety certificate.
There is a wash/toilet cubicle with fixed toilet – external removal cassette, small washbasin, we have a USB rechargeable shower which can be used in the cubicle or outside, 60 litre underslung water tank, fillable by hose under rear bumper.
Twin gas hob and sink, fridge and loads of cupboard space for storage, we often leave the rock n roll bed down and use as a daybed/sofa to snuggle up on.
All internal lighting is LED so very low on power consumption, there are two multi position spots over both beds for reading etc.
There is an underbed garage which can also be accessed from inside as well as through the rear doors, a tow bar with full electrics and a two bike detachable bike rack will come with the van.
We have a 160W roof mounted solar panel as we wanted to be able to offgrid camp, which we have done on many occasions now, we opted for external waste water containers for the same reason so when offgrid we are able to empty waste water appropriately and not have to find a drive over dump point. There is also a full 240v electric system with external hookup. There is a very effective Eberspacher diesel heater fed from the main fuel tank, so no worrying about remembering to fill a seperate tank.
Big Al was built with rental income in mind, this has proven very successful with very good rental return from last June 21 onwards, this year has also proved a success with part of pretty much every week throughout July and August being booked, we are now getting enquiries for September, any buyer could either take advantage of these confirmed bookings and receive some immediate income, or we can arrange to pass the booking on to a colleague.
All work was carried out by Pdubz with all the accompanying paperwork from various suppliers.
One fixed double in rear and rock and roll small double in main area.
The contact details for this vehicle are no longer available because it has either sold or the listing has expired.
