Both drivers and front passenger seats move further back than factory standard to make for more comfortable driving/sitting position.

The chassis of the Landrover Defender has been professionally wax-oil protected.
Vehicle was manufactured as a solid sided County model by Landrover in late 2007. We employed Strathearn Engineering of Auchterarder, Perthshire, Scotland to convert it by installing side windows, forward facing/side folding original Landrover Defender Seats. A new bulkhead bar was installed to create more space and allow this seats to be moved further back and recline more. Side rails were fitted for additional safety and to enable easier access into Landrover.
The Hannibal Roofrack was purchased brand new. It is built by an Expedition Equipment manufacturer in South Africa and is of the highest quality. It is specially designed for the Landrover Defender. The Hannibal Roof Tent and Hannibal Tourer Kit were both purchased second hand. Both appeared to have only been used a handful of times.

Nominally sized for three adults but really a “very large” bed for two adults.
Integral foam mattress.
Hannibal Tourer Kit
This is the additional “rear room” that can be installed.
Creates an additional room with internal access to rear of Landrover and internal access via ladder to “bedroom”
Again made of the heavy duty army style canvas and has a rubberised heavy duty ground sheet.
Has windows and integral fly/mosquito/ midge screens.
A large double bed folds out within the Hannibal Roof tent.
It is designed to sleep 3 people.
Thick foam mattress on top of a thick plywood base.
Fully black-out inside tent – we found this really useful.
