Campervans for Sale Rare MB100 Camper - MOT May 27 - Handcrafted, Minimalist Natural Interior
Mercedes MB100
First registered in the UK on 1 December 2020, imported from Alicante, Spain. Previously owned by an Orange Grove farmer!
I chose the chestnut tree from a Cornish timber merchant & got the panels treated & planed by hand. The insulation is 100% organic sheep’s wool.
The interior chestnut cladding & plywood furniture was handcrafted by Onwards Vehicles. The attention to detail, bespoke design & immaculate finish, are second to none. The coolest thing of all is that you can watch the entire process from this YouTube video…

Engine is in great condition. These vehicles are known to go for 300,000 miles plus, so the engine still have a third of its life to go.
Average fuel consumption is 40.6 MPG or 7.5 litres/100km.
5 gears.
Fresh MOT as of 20 April 2026.
Fresh service of fuel filters & windscreen wipers.
The base of the van has been rustproofed with an underseal.
The bodywork does have the beginnings of rust. An inevitability of old vans. Patches have been treated & sealed with fibreglass. Onwards Vehicles suggested adding a pop top roof to avoid any problems on the roof.
This one-of-a-kind MB100 has been professionally reimagined by Callum of Onwards Vehicles, combining thoughtful design with precision craftsmanship to create a space that feels both beautifully simple and incredibly functional.
Built around Onwards’ signature Pioneer-inspired layout, the interior centres on a cleverly engineered L-shaped seating and bed system. A sliding slatted extension transforms the space effortlessly creating a generous sleeping area while maintaining a comfortable, social seating zone during the day. The full-width rear bench adds a rare sense of openness, allowing you to sit back, stretch out, and truly relax inside the van.
Every element has been carefully considered and built with intention. The bed structure is solid, CNC-cut and hand-finished, designed to be both lightweight and exceptionally strong, with integrated access to the electrical system neatly concealed beneath. Storage is seamlessly worked into the layout, with a combination of hidden compartments, open shelving, and a bespoke side unit featuring soft-close cabinetry and subtle detailing.
The kitchen area follows a minimalist, design-led approach – an elegant L-shaped worktop crafted from iroko, offering a warm, tactile workspace that complements the rich chestnut cladding throughout the van. Open shelving celebrates the natural materials, while the flexible setup allows for a removable stove, keeping the space clean, uncluttered, and adaptable to your needs.
Throughout the van, the focus is on simplicity done well. Clean lines, natural textures, and honest materials create a calm, inviting atmosphere – enhanced by sheeps wool insulation and soft lighting. A porthole window to the rear adds character and brings in additional natural light, reinforcing the van’s subtle nod to marine-inspired design.
This is not a typical camper conversion. It’s a carefully crafted, design-forward space that prioritises quality, usability, and aesthetic integrity in equal measure.
A rare opportunity to own one of just six MB100s in the UK – professionally built, thoughtfully designed, and unlike anything else on the road.
