Remy the fully off-grid Renault Trafic!

This is Remy my camper van – he is back in the UK on the 22nd of October I am driving him back from Portugal (so you can guarentee he will be a good runner). I will take bookings to come visit him from the 23rd onwards then I go back to Portugal and booking will have to be done via a friend of mine. He is perfect if you want to travel round or even live in it. It is have been converted to run fully off-grid.

Vehicle specs below:
– Year/Make/Model: 2012 Renault Trafic LL29 DCI FWD
– Mileage: ~94k miles (currently still using and traveling back from portugal so maybe closer to 96k when sold)
– Engine/Transmission: 1996 CC Manual (RHD)
– Location: Plymouth, England
– Seats: 3 seats (driver plus 2 passengers)
– MOT and Service: 01/01/2027 and last service 15/12/2025
– Van size: LWB (5.128m) and 1.959m Hight (extra 5ish for roof vent) but you till get under most height barriers (important in UK for parking).
– Features: Built in TomTom for navigation and Bluetooth for call & music.

I have looked after the van and have lots of extra documents of work that has been done on if from the dealer I bought it off plus myself. But I have recently driven it from the UK to Portugal and around Portugal and is a great work horse and is ECO version so good fuel economy 🙂

Living space & Amenities:
This van was built to be fully off-grid for wild camping and includes the following features:
– Side window that opens (you can use the extendable tap head out the window to rinse/cold shower.
– Build in hidden sink with extendable tap head that has 2 different adjustments for water flow (currently only cold water fitted) – can be an outdoor rinse/shower as its beside the window and I done it for this purpose.
– Complete Shurflo Trail king 7L 20 PSI water pump installed
– 2KW 12V Diesel Heater (professionally installed under van and connected to main diesel tank)
– Maxxair MaxxFan Remote Control Roof Vent (clear)
– Black Freucamp 50 Litre SVR50L 12/24v Compressor Fridge (fridge and freezer work at the same time)
– LED dimmable lighting in side wall feature
Electrics:
– Fogstar Drift Gen2 12V 300Ah Lithium Leisure Battery (the best you can get – has cell drift control and you connect to the app via Bluetooth to monitor but I also have a renogy battery monitor screen installed to)
– Battery charged with DCC50S 12V 50A DC-DC On-Board Battery Charger with MPPT(New Version). This uses a one or a combination of the vans alternator and a 200 Watt 12 Volt Flexible Monocrystalline Solar Panel installed on the roof.
* The battery has a shunt installed to measure accurate current and can be fully disconnected for maintenance/upgrades/storage with a kill switch I installed *
– 2000W 12V Pure Sine Wave Inverter With English Standard Socket (with UPS Function) which is connected to a pop-up extension socket (see photos) with switch.
– There is also a cigarette and x2 usb 12V charging sockets (they run on 12V DC)
*The electrics is top of the range and can run easily for 5days with all appliances used and minimal to no charging*
– Storage areas can be seen on photo, the main area under the worktop has been left open due to needing space to move all my stuff to Portugal, but I think this is better so someone can design it to fit there needs.
– Lots of under bed storage (large pull out drawer, hidden bedding storage and small one for important items).
– Some boots storage also with a pull out live edge wood table so cook on.
– L-shape sofa with a flip out near double bed in size (actually longer than a double bed). All cushion cover hand made and removable for washing.
– All wood has been treated with linseed oil also 🙂
– Includes full set of thermal windows blinds (inner side is a nice brown colour) and extra side window one if you wanted to install another).

The asking price is negotiable of course we can discuss if needs, I am also willing as its close to the MOT and service to knock money off, not because I think he needs it as I have dealt with every straight as its popped up, but moreso for your peace of mind as I would want the same 🙂
