Renault Master LWB
If you’re looking for a comfortable, spacious, and reliable camper van for your next holiday or adventure then this is the camper for you.
Converted Renault Master Camper – set up for fully off grid stealth camping / living.
We have only used the hook up option once in 3 years!
Not registered as a camper with DVLA, we’ve never bothered but easily could be.
We have owned it for 3 years now and have travelled the whole of the UK, also to France so is set up for travel in Europe to fit the EU rules for Eurotunnel travel etc ( gas bottle locker, stickers etc ) .
So we have had many enjoyable adventures & journeys in her! But our circumstances have changed so it’s time to sell.
I will list everything I can think of – good & not so good so hopefully I won’t get a barrage of stupid questions! No tyre kickers, serious purchasers only. No PX.
If you require any photos of specifics I haven’t shown please message me.
⭐️ The good points –
Starts first time every time !
Truma water heater which can switch between gas or hook up ( cost £600 on installation).
Diesel heater with remote control.
7 stage battery charger.
DC to AC power inverter.
Victron solar panels & charge controller ( 300W ) – plenty of power for off grid living.
CTEK battery charger.
x 2 leisure batteries.
Smod fridge ( works on 12V or hook up )
70L internal water tank.
35L grey waste tank ( underslung ) with tap for easy emptying.
Thetford portaloo.
Lots of 12V points throughout for charging mobiles etc.
Full internal waterproof shower room set up with hot & cold water options.
Moroccan copper sink with hot & cold tap.
Gas cooker with hob, grill & oven.
Hanging clothes cupboard & plenty of internal storage.
Fixed double bed with thick, comfy memory foam mattress.
Overhead spotlights, reading lights & fairy lights.
Privacy windows.
Sat nav & Bluetooth radio.
3.9 gas bottle with locker & spare bottle.
Hosepipe included.
Hook up cable included.
Dodo sound deadening.
Water pump.
Reversing camera.
Max Air Fan with remote control ( cost £300 when installed ).
Great on fuel economy – diesel engine.
Lift up side table for extra counter space.
MOT – August 2024 ( any work shown on last MOT has been completed )
Mileage – 133,000
2012 reg.
⭐️ The not so good points –
There’s some rust under the bonnet, apparently it’s a common issue in masters due to water pooling there or leaves etc. ( see pics )
The bonnet catch is sticky.
The side door runner has some rust ( see pics ) – we haven’t used the van for 8 months so it’s been sat outside hence this issue occurring.
There’s a small crack in the rear driver side bumper ( see pics )
We disconnected the electrics as we knew we wouldn’t be using, now the diesel heater has a fault & a couple of the overhead spots are dimmer than before.
The engine fault light is on the dash, however this has been there since we purchased the camper 3 years ago & we have done 5000 miles since with it still showing!
It has been to various garages & they can’t find the issue, so may just be a faulty sensor or on the vehicle manual it says an emission issue but it passes every MOT on this so we really aren’t sure.
The diesel heater fuel tank did have a leak but this has now been fixed.
If you are over 6ft you won’t be able to stand up comfortably.
Hopefully I have covered everything here!
But if I have missed anything get in touch.
Collection only, cash or bank transfer.
