Overview
Meet our beloved family adventurer. This 2014 Renault Trafic isn’t just a camper; it can be used as a daily driver, a normal van, a day van or camper van all rolled into one. Having owned her since 2019, we have used her for countless family trips, but it’s time for her to find a new home for the next chapter of exploration. It has 11 months of MOT left and is ready to go right now as its replacement has already arrived.

Safety First: 5 Crash-Tested Seats
We prioritized safety above all else. This van is equipped with 5 M1 crash-tested seats, making it the perfect family vehicle:

Front: 3 standard-fitted seats.

Rear: 2 seats on a JDS Metal Tech Rock and Roll bed, fully M1 crash-tested for total peace of mind while traveling.

Style: The bed features bespoke black-and-white vinyl covers to match the van’s sleek styling (note: a couple of cosmetic nicks from its first week, but purely visual!).

The “Modular” Camper Experience
The beauty of this van is its versatility. Unlike heavy, fixed conversions, this cabinetry is easily removable.

Van Mode: Need to move house or transport large items? The cabinets come out fairly easily, giving you a larger loading space.

Camper Mode: Includes a 12V Alpicool GE40 40L compressor fridge (which doubles as an extra seat!), a removable gas cooker, a collapsible sink, and a bin.

Sleeping: The Rock and Roll bed drops in seconds. We’ve also included a custom carpeted board that fits over the front seats—a genius solution we’ve used as the base for a child’s bed.

Power & Comfort
No matter where you park, you have power via three removable methods:

Mains Hookup: For traditional campsite stays.

Inverter: Drawing from the main battery for a 3-pin plug.

Portable Power: An Energizer Lithium-Ion storage unit (AC/DC, USB, & USB-C) for off-grid flexibility.

The interior is fully insulated with a vapour barrier, mineral wool and therma wrap, ply-lined, and finished in cozy vehicle stretch carpet with durable vinyl flooring. Shaded windows all around come with custom-cut thermal sheets for a perfect night’s sleep.

Mechanical & Exterior
Reliability: 191,879 miles, plenty more to go for this diesel engine. We have a huge stack of receipts. In the last few years, the clutch, alternator, and DPF have all been replaced.

Efficiency: She’s easy on the wallet, returning nearly 40mpg and sits in a low insurance group.

Bodywork: Being a 2014 workhorse, she has some “character” marks (scuffs and minor dents), meaning you don’t have to panic about the first scratch on a campsite! The galvanised chassis means rust is not an issue.

Extras: A Fiamma twin bike rack is fitted to the rear. Plus, you can still fit two more bikes inside while using the seats!
