RENAULT TRAFIC SWB OFF GRID CAMPERVAN

This van was built to be entirely off grid to allow long road trips around the UK and Europe. The bed was built to accommodate myself and my girlfriend and is therefore extremely spacious for a van of this size, comfortably sleeping 2 persons.

Electrics:

• 100w monocrystalline solar panel.
• 20A solar charge controller (allowing the possibility for additional solar panels to be added, though for the current van set up this is not necessary).
• Simply split charge relay kit.
• 130ah Leoch AGM leisure battery.
• 3 x LED spotlights.
• Dual USB socket.
• Battery capacity monitor.

Kitchen:

• Dual gas hob.
• 47L fridge/freezer.
• Large countertop with protective finish.
• Spice rack.
• Windowsill dry storage.
• Fixed bear head bottle opener.

Gas:

• 7kg Calor butane gas.
• Bulkhead regulator.
• Carbon monoxide (CO) detector.
• ABC dry powder fire extinguisher.

Insulation:

• 25mm polyurethane foam board in ceiling and floor.
• Mineral wool used for walls, doors and cavities.
• Note – van was thoroughly insulated to allow for driving in hot European temperatures and cold British winters.

Interior:

• Double swivel front seats.
•. Large wardrobe with 3 shelves (electric compartment accessible underneath the bottom shelf)
• Large kitchen cupboard containing gas cylinder, 20L water container and rubbish bin.
• Spacious pull-out drawer above fridge for kitchen utensils/miscellaneous items.
• Thick curtains to black out window.
• Coat hangers at back of van.
