Vehicle Description

6 speed manual gear box
BHP 115
4 previous owners
MOT until August 2026
cruise control and speed limiter function

It runs really well. As you can see throughout this listing, over the past 18 months, I’ve had 2 full services and the van has flown through it’s MOTs with no issues*
Under normal driving conditions I regularly get 44MPG
I’ve spent £2.6k approximately on replacement parts including:
– APR 2024 (multi-check from my local garage including new fluids, filters, and cleaning the brakes as the van had been sat around for a while)
– AUG 2024 (full service, slave cylinder, clutch, flywheel £1.3k)
– FEB 2025 (new battery)
– JULY 2025 (full service, 2 new tyres, replaced front and rear brakes, front anti-roll bar link boots replaced, front rod links replaced £1.3k)

*On the last MOT, it was noted that the battery was insecure however its unlikely to fall. And the cosmetic damage to the offside sill and rear bumper were noted.

As a result of all of the attention I’ve given it, the van is mechanically sound, and drives really well.

EXTERIOR:
Being an ex builders van, it does have various cosmetic dings, scrapes, and scratches. The most significant issues to note are the following:
– rear bumper is a bit loose
– offside sill and sliding door is damaged. However, it’s only cosmetic, and the sliding door operates as normal
– offside wing mirror has been replaced in the past
– offside rear light has a crack

Positive features:
– no rust
– roof rack (originally cost £500 by previous owners)
– rear ladder for easy access to the roof
– custom orange, grey and black decals which really make it stand out in the crowd
– black wheel trims
– bonnet bra to protect the bonnet

INTERIOR DRIVING CABIN:
The front cabin is generally good. The front seats and steering wheel are quite worn (147k of use will take it’s toll) so I’ve fitted custom seat covers, and a steering wheel cover, just to improve the asthetics. All the switches, dials, radio, speakers, and heaters work fine. I have fitted an aftermarket wireless carplay device which you can hook up to your phone and use for sat nav or music. I’ve also fitted “fake” alarm stickers with the vehicle VIN and a small device which has a flashing blue light, so it looks like it’s alarmed.

Negatives:
Air-con – I’m not sure if this works or just needs refilling
Rear 12v socket doesn’t work – could be just the fuse but I couldn’t work out which one it was (I just run all my 12v from the front cabin socket)

Please message me if you have any questions, would like a video tour, or would like to come and take a look. Test drives absolutely welcomed.

Reason for sale is simply, this was my first ever van, and I’ve loved it so much. However, I’ve got the bug and recently finished converting a newer and much larger van! So sadly this one has to go now 🙁

Conversion Description

Such a cosy little van! Ideal for short trips away.

Cooking, eating and washing – the kitchen unit has plenty of storage for food, crockery, pots, pans, a sink, water, tap and a cooler. Theres a small shelf for herbs and spices, tea bags, and other essentials! The water setup is rather crude but it does the job. There are two 5 litre bottles hidden away, 1 filled with clean water, and 1 empty for waste. The sink drains into the waste container. The tap is USB powered and is plug and play ready.
I use a 12v cooler which is ideal for short trips. You can connect it up to the 12v car ports at the front and keep things cool whilst driving (along with ice blocks) And I have also fitted a small 12v fridge in the front cabin which can keep food cold for longer. I’ve managed to have cold beers after 3 nights away!

Living space and bedroom – the bench seating is ideal for little stop offs whilst on longer journeys. There is plenty of storage underneath the seating. I used canvas boxes to keep clothes, bedding, spare food, and other essentials. Two scatter cushions are stowed away on the ceiling for easy access. When the curtains are closed the rear area is pitch black! There are hooks on the back of the door for your clothes, towels and bags. And little mesh storage pouches so you can quickly stow things like gloves, socks and pants!

Electrics – I have a Vitoman 600x portable power station. It’s ideal for keeping your phone and tablets charged up, plus you can plug it into the van whilst driving to recharge the unit itself. I also have a portable solar panel which you can connect up to the unit to recharge on clear days. Throughout the van, I have various USB charged devices such as a radio, light bulbs etc, so basically you can charge everything before setting off, and recharge on the go.

I’ve done the conversion from scratch with no plans, and just built it as I went. It’s not an off-the-shelf conversion kit, so if you are seeking perfect lines and glossy finishes, this van isn’t for you! But if you want a starter van, something that you can put your own stamp on, then keep on reading. It’s ready to go as is, or you could remove my furniture and fit something else to fit your needs.

The sale price includes the Vitoman power unit, solar panel, wireless carplay device, USB tap, USB lights, portable toilet, canvas storage boxes, camping stove, spare gas, 12v fridge, 12v cooler box, and roof bag. The total cost of everything I’m including will cost you around £750 to buy new.

The conversion process!

removed the old panels, floor and bulkhead. Gave it a good clean and filled all of the screw holes and treated them for rust, before painting.
used recycled plastic material to insulate the rear, including filling in all ofthe little gaps and pockets.
applied sound deadening panels
added Celotex insulation board to the floor and added roof batons to make a floorframe
used 12mm marine grade plywood to make the floor
3mm vinyl flooring onto
reclaimed wooden cladding for the walls
cut and fitted two side windows with blackout curtains
auto carpet fitted to the rear doors and other exposed areas

All in all, I spent around 3 months converting it, and £3600 on materials.

Beds Description

The bench seating pulls out to create a 200 x 90cm. (I’m single so in truth I did build it to accommodate me and my dog, but you could definitely fit 2 people (and no dog!)
The cushions are a 5cm firm foam which is surprisingly comfy, and have custom made covers.

n.b. the bed can be completely removed if you need some extra space to transport stuff around.

Main Bed Length
200cm
