The van is in very good condition inside and out. The engine starts first time, runs smoothly and drives exactly as it should with no known mechanical faults. The gearbox changes cleanly through all gears and the clutch operates perfectly.
It has recently had a new wet belt, new alternator, new injectors and a new auxiliary belt fitted with my machinic, and has covered only around 200 miles since this work was completed. The van also benefits from a full service history, giving added peace of mind.
The bodywork is in good condition for its age, with only minor age-related marks expected on a vehicle of this type. The camper conversion has been completed to a high standard using quality materials, and everything is clean, tidy and well looked after.
The interior is in excellent condition, with all fixtures, fittings and electrics in full working order. A brand new 12-month MOT will be supplied once a deposit has been paid. Overall, this is a reliable, well-maintained camper that is ready for its next adventure.
This camper conversion is almost complete, with only a few cosmetic finishing touches remaining around the rear doors and side door. These are non-essential and can easily be completed over time while still enjoying the camper straight away. All of the major work has been finished, and it is ready to be used immediately.
The van has been thoughtfully designed with future upgrades in mind. Included with the sale is a 50-litre fresh water tank and matching waste water tank, which I had planned to mount underneath the van. The plumbing has already been run throughout the camper, making installation straightforward.
If the next owner would like to add a shower, I’ve already done most of the preparation. A dedicated 240V cable has been installed beneath the dining seat for a water heater, and the plumbing has been routed to make fitting a shower as simple as possible.
To make ownership even easier, I’ve created a comprehensive manual complete with photographs showing where all the wiring runs, what each cable does, fuse locations and how the electrical system works. This will be invaluable for maintenance or adding future upgrades.
The camper has not yet been registered with the DVLA as a motor caravan, as I intended to add an awning and windows to the rear doors before applying. If the new owner wishes to have it reclassified, it will require the usual external features such as an awning and rear door windows, along with any other DVLA requirements at the time of application.
The main bed lowers from the ceiling at the touch of a button, making it quick and easy to set up. The end of the bed can also be extended using pull-out drawer-style brackets, providing extra legroom for taller sleepers.
The lower seating area converts into a small double bed. The lids of the storage boxes slide out to create the bed base, and the comfortable cushions fit neatly on top. The handmade kitchen features solid oak worktops, a beautiful copper sink and tap, generous storage, a two-burner gas hob and a fridge, giving you everything you need to cook wherever your adventure takes you.
Built for off-grid living, the camper is powered by a premium Victron electrical system with solar charging, leisure batteries, 240V hook-up, inverter, diesel heater and plenty of USB and mains sockets, allowing you to stay off-grid in comfort for days at a time.
This camper is based on a 2017 Ford Transit 2.0 EcoBlue diesel with a 6-speed manual gearbox.
