Ford Transit Connect 210 Trend (LWB Kombi)
The van is a Diesel LWB Ford Transit Connect from 2014 with 95k miles on the clock. The front windows are electric and it has air con, DAB radio and Bluetooth speaker connection.
She is easy to drive and runs extremely smoothly, suited perfectly to manage narrow roads or busy cities if they come up on your travels, or use at home. Inside there is a spacious cabin with three belted seats.
There is full service history and MOT valid until October 2022. We’ve had no issues with her since we’ve had her.
We installed an electric kill switch for the battery as an extra protection from theft (we parked her on a London street), which comes with the added benefit of stopping the battery running low if it’s not being driven very often.
Comes with a spacious roof rack, perfect extra storage space for bags to keep the inside clear.
Spare tyre included also.
There are a couple of marks on the bodywork from a few minor scrapes, but nothing serious or too obvious.
The van has been converted beautifully in well insulated ‘Chalet’ panelled style. There are multiple practical additions, for example:
– A leisure battery, connected to charge off the main car battery when driving
– A sink with electric tap, which connects to a water storage tank in the side
– An extractor fan to clear out any stale air and cool the van
– Dimmable spot lights and LED bar along the top of the van
– USB and 12v accessory outlet
– Good storage space in the form of a drawer and a cupboard in the side of the van, as well as netted storage on the walls and also a hatch in the base for muddy shoes
– More storage for culinary accessories in a pull out unit from under the sofa/bed
– The pull out unit doubles up as a surface which can hold a gas cooker or can act as a table
The base of the sofa pulls out and the mattress is rearranged to create an extremely comfortable double, filling up most of the van but leaving a small space to store things and keep accessible during the night.
Very simple mechanism which slides back easily into a sofa in no time at all.
