2017 Ford Transit Custom SWB with beautiful professional conversion by Rack n Roll Specialist Converters, Cardiff. A must see, she’s stunning!
LIVING AREA:
The van has a U-shaped seating area that converts into a huge double bed and more. There are two options for swivel table with a telescopic leg that store away neatly in a specially designed spot behind the driver’s seat (right next to the handcrafted bottle holder). Under the benches there is loads of storage accessible from inside the van and the from the barn doors outside. There is a double swivel passenger seat with room for storage underneath. And for when the nights are nippy there is a brilliant diesel heater plumbed to the main tank.
SLEEPING:
Downstairs the u-shaped seating converts to a huge bed which takes no time and no fuss. And the pop top sleeps 1-2 people also. The pop top has a hand crafted sliding hatch door so not visible from the van when everything is packed up.
OFF-GRID:
The switch board is attached to the cupboard behind the driver’s seat tidily. Fuse box in the roller cupboard. Diesel heater button/digital display on the front of the cupboard above the fridge/freezer on-off button. There are usb points and UK plugs (12v, 12v usb, 240v), spot lights and reading lights all dimmer. The Japanese tea room inspired feature is perfect for shelving ipads, phones, cups and a little pot plant! And it’s very pretty. The solar panel is 150 watts. The van is hook up ready also with 240v hook up.
There are sliding windows driver and passenger sides in the rear of the van plus windows in the barn doors and a rear view mirror.
The van is kitted out in Baltic hardwood birch hand crafted by the very talented Rack n Roll.
