Toyota Grand Hiace Campervan
Japanese import, converted from minibus on import by a professional conversion company near Bristol. We have some documentation about the conversion.
Used as a hotel minibus in Japan. Was 20,000 km on import as hardly used from 2000 until 2021.
The van has a dent in the side which is purely cosmetic.
The van has a 3.4L petrol engine. It is the same as used in a Toyota Landcruiser of the same generation, so is very robust. This has been part of the servicing history. There is a LPG conversion so the van can run with both fuels (it will automatically switch from LPG to petrol wen the LPG tank is empty). This conversion does not form part of the service history. We have had it serviced before, but not for some time.
We have never experienced any mechanical issue.
There is a car alarm installed as well as a UK audio system, which can use Apple CarPlay.
Converted by a professional company who import the minibuses.
Now registered as an MPV (on V5 cewrtificate).
Roller bed converts from 3 seats into a bed for 2.
Two children / small adults can fit in the top section.
