Fiat Lunar
This is a beautifully decorated, modern motorhome – when we bought it we redecorated fully inside to give it a homely feeling. This included new professional upholstery, paint to walls, and peel’n’stick tiles in the kitchen area. We have lived in this van for the last five months whilst travelling the UK, and also for three months in 2020 in Europe, so there is a little wear and tear in line with this. We can vouch that this motorhome works very well both in the hab and under the bonnet! We are only selling so that we can both get a van conversion each – a bit more practical for day-to-day life. This would be perfect for a couple, or a family with young kids. Technically a 6 berth (overcab plus two double beds in the “downstairs” area of the van) however we were very happy sleeping in the overcab and having it set up with a fixed sofa area and fixed table area at the back also.
2.3litre diesel engine, five gears. Passed MOT with no advisories in August 2021. When we purchased this van in summer 2020 we replaced the timing and auxiliary engine belts, new clutch, flywheel, master and slave cylinder, new brake pads, new earth cables (total about £3k of work to the engine) and has run like an absolute dream since. Handles very well – we call him our little workhorse because since we did the work to the engine last year, we haven’t had any issues at all! It also had a new 110ah leisure battery, a new kitchen tap and a twin rearview/reversing camera system (VisionPlus Ranger 440) installed when we first purchased the van.
There is a small amount of damage to the rear driver’s side bumper (pictures attached), but otherwise externally this is a motorhome in very good condition. In the habitation area, there is a working 3-way Thetford fridge/freezer, an oven with grill, a hob with three burners, and a sink with working tap. (I have cooked a whole roast in this kitchen – with a bit of flexibility it is possible!) There is also a separate bathroom with a shower, a Thetford casette toilet, a sink. There is a Truma gas boiler which connects to the water and heating system – if you are plugged in (for example on a site) it is also possible to use electric-only to heat the water up, or a combination of the two. However, with the addition of the 100W of solar on the roof, off-grid van living is very doable in this motorhome, and extremely comfortably at that.
Comes with all specific appliance instruction manuals including oven, boiler, smoke alarm, and full Lunar intruction manual.
Overcab, two double beds can be made up from the sofa and the table areas.
