Vantrax TRX002 , is built on a 2019 VW Caddy Startline & completed in August 2024.
TRX002 is built to be optimised for weekend adventure lovers and to be the ULTIMATE MTB focused vehicle.
With our upcoming launch at the 2024 Malvern’s Classic MTB Festival, we built TRX 002 to serve as a Demo van to showcase our capabilities and services and to showcase our product line. The reception from the festival goers was overwhelming, motivating us to delve deeper into designing more adventure van products and defining our ethos and goals as a adventure van business.
TRX002 has also been used as a test vehicle for ensuring our conversions and products live up to the real world demands that any keen adventurer may have, and it surpassed our goals with flying colours. From its sleek and stylish road presence and upgraded off road capabilities due to the BF Goodrich AT1 tyres to providing a cosy nights sleep in the Tentbox Lite 2.0, TRX002 has proven itself to be ready for whatever journey you wish to embark on!
Featured in this conversion is our Shred Sled PRO bike storage system as well as our Drop Pods PRO storage and cooking modules. When designing TRX002, we knew we wanted to follow a modular build ethos, so in less than a minute the Drop Pods can be removed from the vehicle enabling you to have a clear load space! We recognise here at Vantrax that not everybody has the luxury of having a dedicated leisure vehicle, hence the decision to build in a modular and adaptable way!

The reimagined TentBox Lite, 2.0 comes packed with two skylights, dual layer memory foam mattress, a foot-friendly ‘flat-step’ ladder, and a new rainfly design meaning less poles. It’s a two person softsheel tent with a new fabric cover and an upgraded ripstop polyester shell meaning less sunbleaching, higher rated rainproofing and YKK zips throughout. Expect new, premium quality.
