Vw t4 transporter, 11 months MOT, 2.5tdi engine,
Here we have the classic bullet proof vw transporter, very low miles for age and has been in my family nearly all its life, it has had new locks all around and new new door seals all around too, new windscreen and updated slightly lower suspension making it drive more car like and fit easily under parking barriers, a few small marks and bumps here and there but all in all a very clean and solid little van, engine and gearbox pull smooth and strong and everything works as it should,
Starting with sound deadening then twin sided aluminium foil insulation covering all exterior panels, a min of 25mm celitex and in some places up to 75mm in all panel gaps walls and floor being then covered again with the alloy insulation and foil tap sealed for vapour protection, this is the most professional and correct way to seal you van from the Elements and no expense was spared as to do this wrong compromises the whole convention, acoustical insulation was used in doors roof and any small areas.
Shurflow 10lpm auto water pump has been used to supply water from a removable water tank to and old antique brass bowl with brass garden style tap, there is a connection ready under the sink to connect a small shower attachment,
A split charge relay charges a leisure battery that powers the lighting , usb and 12v socket , it also has room on the fuse board to easily add more if needed ,
Passenger seat rotates to make the van feel twice as big,
Plenty of storage for this size van in solid light weight pine cupboards that that will last years and can be sanded and repainted at anytime making the van like new again, worktop is solid oak and is absolutely stunning with one piece being from a tree i ok we 200 years old.
The sofa bed slide forward acting as seating to the worktop and also folding down to make a small double bed , with the drivers seat folded forward this also makes for very comfortable seating, with the addition of a folding table from the end of the kitchen the swivel chair and the sofa would seat 4 or 5 easily which is amazing for a van this size.
The real benefits of this small van come in the fact it looks and is still a van and has no signs from the outside of being a camper, this and itβs low height means itβs a van you really can take anywhere and park / stay anywhere even with all the camper restrictions that are being put in place at car parks everywhere at the moment ..
In the back we have a sofa bed that pulls out and folds down to sleep 2, there is a home made camping bed that can fit between the front doors making a sort of hammock in the cab that could sleep 1 small person or child
