The full 6 seats make this van rare as it is capable of carrying a larger family, along with the full width R&R bed makes for a larger sleeping area compared to a standard build.
Combined these make the van great for either the larger family, or for grandparents who are looking for a larger bed, but take the occasional grandchildren away.
The van has been facelifted by a previous owner to look like a T5.1 meaning that the van looks significantly newer and fresher than the V5 suggests. Modern looking vehicle but at older vehicle price.
This van has had lots of work completed recently, including a new Cambelt, Flywheel, Clutch, Aux Belt, Pumps and Turbo. Pretty much everything that could be changed, was changed. On top of this the Van has also had new brake pads and disks all round both front and back as well as new bushes. Lots of receipts from a local VW specialists.
The van has a strong engine and drives really well, with the benefit of 6 gears it also gives great mileage on long drives.
The van has a complete leisure battery setup with split charge system and 240V setup with leisure battery charger. There is also a built in cabinet with wine rack and dometic condensing fridge, meaning that the system can last a full weekend off grid with out needing to run the vehicle to power the fridge. There is also a 300W inverter that can power laptops and small electronic devices.
The stereo system has also been upgraded to included a headunit with apple carplay and android audio.
The vans body is in good condition and shows very little signs of wear or aging. The engine does burn a bit of oil when cold but has no other mechanical issues – although new front tyres are advisories on the most recent MOT.
This is a great solid van if you’re looking for an occasional camper, or day van with fridge for taking picnics and trips with the family.

The van has been fitted with some cabinets, side sliding windows, a fridge and a full width rock and roll bed.
The Leisure battery and 240V circuit breakers are underneath the front passenger seats. The vehicle is fitted with a 12V Dometic Compressor fridge, a split charger and AC-DC charger, as well as a 300W inverter.
The full width rock and roll bed has 3 seat belts to enable the van to carry 6 passengers as well as giving a bed as almost as wide as a king size bed.
There is also lots of storage space under the bed frame as well as in the 2x built in cabinets and 3x bottle wine rack.
Finally there is a small table that clips onto the side of the van and extends 2/3s of the width of the van to give a dining room in the back.
I also have the windows to be fitted to the rear side panel, however never got the time to fit them.
Full width rock and roll bed that is almost the size of a full king size bed. We have comfortably slept 2 adults and 1 child in the back of this van or 1 adult and 2 children much easier.
