Volkswagen – T5, T30 140 TDI SWB 2010
This is a really excellent example of a T5 conversion. It was loved before it came to me and converted for us. It was originally an old Water board van, so well cared for and no overloading etc.
Genuine 50K as shown by the MOT slips, which you can view. Formally converted to Motor Caravan in 2016 @ 30K. We’ve had her since 2016 and have done 20K. the first 4 of that was in 2016!
General –
T30 140hp version so can move when it wants to
6 speed and pretty good on it’s mpg around 30 out of town.
2 keys
No issues starting or any really. Light use as you will see from the mileage and MOTs.
Have replaced both the main and leisure battery when needed and lives plugged into the battery management charger when stored in the garage

Bodywork –
Simply put this van is in excellent condition, especially given it’s age. Worth viewing to be appreciated but with confidence.

Wheels & Tires –
– Load rated wheels & refurbished recently (due to lacquer flaking), switch to gloss black to align with over-all scheme. Wheel locking nut supplied
– Tires are all load rated.
– Full size spare (original steel wheel, stored under rear), separate bolts, supplied
To consider –
The good news is this is a worry free purchase. Well serviced, stored inside and well cared for. This was not used day to day.
MOT identified a need to refresh the Suspension springs which has been done (thanks to Hertfordshire roads) other than that she’s a beauty.
No advisories at MOT but the front two will need to be refreshed in the next 1 – 1.5K miles, depending on your driving style. Tried to show in pictures

This is a professionally conversion completed by BlueSky Conversions in Cambridgeshire. It was converted from an old water van and has completed 20K since conversion with one owner, no rentals and so is in great condition. – HiLo canvas opening roof. These are quite simply one of the best roofs in the business. Stealth!! Lowest closing, highest opening, load rated deck and crash tested it provides the space you need to stand in the van or sleep another two on the roof. It fully opens with three windows, two of which open (blackout, midge net, clear) and one that doesn’t (blackout, clear).
– Deck can be raised to allow for day time standing, or lowered for 2 sleeping or chilling

This is a classic rock and roll bed for two. measuring just over 6.1
The van also has a sleeping deck in the roof which is load rated to 250kg. You could put a memory foam mattress or we used a camping mattress. Also great as a sun deck.
