1972 VW volkswagen t2 bay window tin top.
1641cc engine with twin carbs, very solid underneath, uprated heavy duty front anti roll bar, uprated heavy duty front upper and lower ball joints, new modern chipped key, new locks all round, 12 volt leisure battery system, 240 volt hook up, input and output sockets, gas burner hob with gas bottle, sink with running cold water, solid chassis been fully cleaned and stonechip coated, new gear rod selector bushes and short shift plate fitted, powder coated wheels, lots of new parts.
Restored/resprayed inside and outside less than 5 years ago. The odd small bubble starting to show but doesn’t detract from the overall good look. inner roof/ceiling painted in rust protection, new head lining then fitted, new seals and rubbers
Great rare tin top wagon, vinyl graphics can be removed if its not your cup of tea. Professionally installed mx5 front seats provide perfect seating position so no back ache on longer trips with speakers in the headrests but currently not connected. Although not required it has mot till April 2025. not forgetting that its tax free as well. Sleepy Jean has been in the family around 30 years in total.
