Produces lovely dry heat and is perfect for those wanting to use the van all year round – you always have a source of heat. Comes with poker/cleaning kit. New carbon monoxide and smoke alarms. DINING AND LOUNGE

Spacious sofa with easy-clean, water-repellent cover – perfect for two, works for three, and extra comfy for one person to curl up with a book in front of the fire. It is also suitable as a small bed for a child (124cm length). Swivel table – easily adjustable and removable. Handmade oak window frame with opening window. Huge storage space under the sofa.

Cab has been left open as previous buyers have wanted the option to install swivel seats or single passenger seats later on – it also gives great visibility when changing lanes and reversing, as well as more light and front-facing views!

BATHROOM

GARAGE

Large garage with heaps of storage for luggage, hiking gear etc. It houses all the technical stuff – electrics and batteries, fresh water tank, Truma heater/boiler, gas locker and fridge.

HEATING / GAS / WATER / INSULATION

Heating consists of the wood burner as well as the excellent Truma Combi 4E, a 4kw heater and 10L water boiler for instant hot water for shower and sink. Thermostatically controlled and powered by the 6kg LPG gas bottle or mains electricity. Gas Safe LAV certificate May 2022.

The van is well-insulated with closed cell foam, celotex and bottle insulation on walls, celotex on floor and ceiling, a vapour barrier and then cladding and durable LVT flooring. There is excellent airflow due to the various skylights/fan and smartly located heating ducts.

Water system comprises onboard 85L fresh water tank, John Guest fittings/pipes, Shurflo trail king 7 30psi water pump, filter/strainer and accumulator, various shut off valves, and underslung 66L waste tank. Water gauge monitors water levels of both tanks.

ELECTRICS

Van 12v appliances are powered by a huge 220Ah battery bank and you can use 240v appliances like laptops via the 250W Victron inverter with remote. Victron 712 battery monitor.

The batteries are charged three ways: when driving (Victron DC charger), when off grid (185W solar panel and Victron MPPT solar controller) and on grid (mains EHU and Victron mains charger). These can be monitored on the Victron app. You can also run the Truma heater/boiler directly from mains power.

Lots of bright and warm lighting throughout including reading lights with USB sockets, spotlights, and kitchen strip lighting.
