Hi, having had a LWB T5 and a Motorhome before going back to VW in the form of a new LWB Crafter, I / we knew what we needed and more importantly what we didn’t need in our new van conversion! I’d shopped around at all the big guys in Devon and Cornwall only to be told you can do that it our way all the highway. I bit narrow minded to say the least!
When I put in a search for “Bespoke” van conversion “Alternative Campers” was the first to come up. Upon looking at the gallery I realised I’d found what I was looking for! I’d arranged to meet and popped in the see Zoe.
Zoe as it turns is a joiner by trade and as I turned up she was work on her latest vehicle which looked awesome. She agreed to do my Crafter and so it began. Knowing what I wanted and more importantly what I didn’t want or need, comfort over luxury. Haven learnt from the T5 and the Motorhome what we didn’t need, living and cooking outside for the most part my build would a wee bit different to what Zoe would usual build. She rose to the challenge and turned my thoughts and ideas into a masterpiece of Art, and using her experience and knowledge she advised and came up with solutions to problems and my quirky ideas. The conversion was better than I could have ever expected, Zoe’s attention to detail is impeccable and what she’s done with the wood is amazing! I’m happy beyond belief with my now Campervan!
