Contour Campers creates timeless mid-century modern campervan furniture which is modular, innovative and built to last. You can order individual furniture units, full furniture layouts or come to our workshop for furniture installs and full conversions. We are design professionals who focus on every little detail to ensure your furniture will serve you well for many years to come.

Who we are

We are product designers with many years of experience in the visual arts, textile and manufacturing industries. We are passionate about creating innovative spaces which reflect our expertise in interior design, coupled with our extensive experience of furniture making and campervan design.

What we offer

Our layouts have been designed to create intuitive and beautiful spaces that are a joy to relax in, after a day in the hills. Rain or shine each layout has the capacity to be a cosy haven or inviting outdoor/indoor space, which makes the most of the views and good weather.

We specialise in medium sized vans such as Transporters, Customs, Trafics, Vivaros Vitos, and more and we have a wide variety of layouts to suit these vans. We have also designed some furniture for larger Sprinter sized vans.

• Bespoke upholstery service to suit already completed vans
• Being your lined van to us for a furniture install (with options for electrics, water, gas and appliances)
• Full conversions in our signature style with all the bells and whistles

Why our furniture is different

Our campervan furniture kits are lovingly crafted in our Lake District workshop from the initial sketch all the way through to production. All of our furniture is meticulously drawn in 3D CAD before being precision cut on our CNC machine.

Features:

• Beautiful hardwearing birch plywood with options for Formica worktops
• Mid-century modern Scandinavian aesthetic built into every furniture unit
• CNC joinery for added strength and making assembly a doddle
• Lightning holes in the internal panels to reduce weight but keep strength where it is needed
• Supplied flat pack with graphical assembly guides for building at home with only basic tools
• Honed and refined over many iterations based on real lived experience of vanlife
• Packed with details, such as subtle curved edges, but more affordable than one-off custom furniture
