We’re James and Mel, the owners of PDD Conversions.

Our journey began with a simple desire to escape the norm and explore more of the world. We converted an old pie and pastry delivery van into our perfect home-on-wheels, packed with all the comforts we needed, and set off on our first van-life adventure.

Van-life and the open road sparked something in us. We returned home hooked—full of unforgettable memories, more knowledge and a passion for building. We couldn’t wait to start our next conversion and plan the next adventure.

Fast forward a few years and PDD Conversions was born, We decided to turn that passion into something bigger—bringing our style, experience, and attention to detail to like-minded people.

What We Offer

With a strong background in building, design, and real van-life experience, we’ve developed a range of signature builds that have been tried and tested over the years.

Our signature builds are designed around Relay, Boxer, Ducato, and Vivaro platforms, but we can also work with other vans such as Sprinters and similar models.

How It Works

It all starts with a conversation.

Whether you’re interested in a signature build or a completely custom design, we’ll work with you to finalise every detail. Once your design is ready, you simply book a build slot and drop your van off at our workshop—where everything is handled in-house.

From there, you can sit back, relax, and start planning your next adventure.
